Hi everyone! On **Saturday, March 7, 2026**, I’m planning a relaxed early-spring hike along **Stadtwanderweg 6 – Zugberg & Maurer Wald** in the south of Vienna. This route takes us through quiet forest paths, gentle hills, and open clearings with beautiful views towards the Vienna Basin and the Wienerwald. It’s a lovely mix of nature, culture, and calm atmosphere. **What makes this hike special** ⛪ Wotruba Church (Kirche zur Heiligsten Dreifaltigkeit) 🌌Sterngarten Georgenberg (Open-Air Planetarium) 🌄Zugberg & Mitzi-Langer-Wand 🌳 Maurer Wald & Eichwiese ⛪ Bergkirche Rodaun This hike is ideal if you want a moderate workout without technical difficulty. This time we read the hard science fiction novel **"Echopraxia" (2014)** by the Canadian author **Peter Watts**, sequel of the book "Blindsight", which we already discussed in November. It's not necessary to have read the first part, but it helps to understand some concepts that are not explained in the second. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
