Well I was gonna do Wonderland, but the forecast this week is calling for rain Thursday. So.... we pivot to Madam's Organ! One of my favorite happy hours in DC for both value and going late. The bar opens at 6, and happy hour runs until 8. Half priced beer, wine and well drinks as well as really tasty appetizers. If you have only been to Madam's Organ on the weekend, this is a completely different vibe. Soft music over the sound system and usually pretty light on crowds. Hey Poetry Lovers! This group is on a roll. Here’s the gist: We meet at the **Capital One Café in Chinatown** from **12pm - 2pm** every other week. For enrichment, we start by reading and reflecting on a **“published poem”**, suggested by someone in the group. No advance preparation is necessary.
