Come join us & meet like minded gamers & new & old friends for a bit of board gaming, RPG, card gaming or Wargaming fun 🎲 Bring your own games or grab one from our selection of over 100 games & play while you enjoy a drink & some pub grub 🦁 🎟 For full access to our club & all it's games, we ask that each attendee give a suggested donation of a £1 entry fee at both our venues. This is just £1 per person, per night. This is simply to help the club cover it's expenses & stay operational. Come and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan. Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00. We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat. Hi everyone! (pre-pandemic information) If you like to play modern board, card and dice games, and to meet new people, then join us on Monday evenings from 6pm until the pub closes around 11pm. Feel free to bring your own games if you have them, but don't worry if you don't as regular members will bring some along. And of course, we'll teach you how to play them if you don't know already. You work late? No worries - you can join us any time before closing (11pm), so if you don't arrive at 6pm (attendees tend to arrive around 6:30 or 7pm), don't worry :-) Everyone comes and goes when they like, so it is possible that you may be the first to arrive or the last to leave, Please write in the comments what time you expect to arrive at the pub, so we can try to avoid anyone having to wait alone for long. We are a relaxed and friendly group, made up of both natives and foreigners, of locals and those living further afield, happy to welcome newbies and regulars. Events are free to attend, but it is respectable to the public venues we hold them at if you can buy at least one drink or some food while you are present, just like anyone else at the pub would do. If you would like to contribute towards the costs of running of this group, feel free to buy the host(s) a drink of their choice when you see them, for which they'd be very grateful. This saves money that can be put towards the Meetup subscription fees and buying the games that we all play. ## Welcome to Relaxed Mafia Come and play Mafia, an exciting social deduction game, in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Players of all levels of experience are welcome, including complete beginners. There is a recommended donation of between £5 and £10 to help us to cover our Meetup fees. If you can't afford this though, then dont let this stop you coming! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Just in case you wanted a final gaming session before welcoming in the New Year, we have access to the room up until about 5pm. From the highly technical to the simplest of games, from the seasoned gamer to the first timer, all are welcome. We cater for nearly all modern games as per our rules. We would be delighted if you wanted to join us, please don't fret if there is a long waitlist, this tends to disappear a day or two before the event, sometimes even on the day, so keep an eye out. It would be best if you could be here by the start time, but if you can’t you could always let people know and they might wait for you to arrive before playing. Welcome to My Kind of Meeples. Feel free to RSVP and come along for some board gaming delights. We are moving back into our spiritual home of The Sun Of Camberwell! After a few weeks sofa surfing at another venue we are back at The Sun Of Camberwell. Please arrive from 6.30pm for chit chat and getting to know each other. If you are new, please introduce yourself to one of the hosts and they will look after you. At 7pm we start our first game of picking games for the night. Those who have brought games along offer up what they have, with a brief introduction and an idea of difficulty level. People are then free to join any game that they like, and we will make sure everybody has a game to play. If it's a game you do not know, it will always be taught beforehand or there will be a quick refresher if you have played it before. We play a lot of different sorts of games which last between 1 to 3 hours. We have a variety of games happening at once, and usually have at least one beginner-friendly game and one more advanced game running on any evening. The evening normally lasts until closing time (approx 11pm) and depending on the game you play, you might get more than one game a night. Strategy Board Games at the The Coat and Badge, Putney. **Is this event for you?** If you have been to a few WLGC events, or are used to playing modern board games with a significant amount of rules, then this event is for you. If not, please join us at our "Beginner Friendly" event every other week. This is an event to play Strategy games which range from medium to heavy in complexity and last 2-4 hours, depending on the game. It can take about 15-30min to teach, again depending on the complexity of the game. I usually advertise which game I am going to bring a few days in advance, as it can be helpful to at least be familiar with the rules. Other gamers may bring another selection of games, so be prepared to be surprised on the day. Here are more details specifically about the Putney events: We’re a friendly, social group that regularly play a range of board games and card games. This event has been running since June 2022 and we have a core group of regular gamers but welcome new members who are looking for a games group to play on a regular or fairly regular basis.
