Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested. Join us every Sunday and tell a story as a group by playing a beginner-friendly roleplaying game. Every week we have 2-3 different games - you will choose which game you play on the day. A group of friends have rented a cottage in the woods near Briançon, a remote Alpine village in France. They plan to spend a couple of days kicking back, drinking mulled wine, and skiing in a nearby resort. They are weary from their long journey, but that will soon be the least of their worries. This isn't about "the 'gram"; it's about the art of looking. We’re putting our phones on aeroplane mode and picking up our cameras to focus on the lines, light, and life along the River Liffey. Angie loves capturing the hidden details of the city, and she’ll be co-hosting this walk to help us all find those perfect angles and unique perspectives. 🥾 The Route: We’ll meet at the iconic **Samuel Beckett Bridge** and wind our way down the quays. Hi all, lets meet at 12h to play Beach Volleyball in BullIsland, near the car park on the "Statue of Our Lady, Star Of The Sea" side of BullIsland. From Clontarf Rd cross over "The Wooden Bridge" and keep going on until the end, turn left when you see the beach car park and keep going to the left. We will set the nets beside the car park 😉 Please avoid to park at the beach because the car can get stuck on the sand. If you come by car park as soon as you find space and then walk. The idea is to have lunch at the beach and play beach volleyball. Please bring water, sun glasses (for the sand more than the sun) and sun cream (even when it's cloudy you can still get burned with the wind). I would love to create another lovely healthy group to have fun with and enjoy the weather whenever it's possible. All levels are welcome because the goal is to have fun and do some exercise. During social tennis, I offer some coaching advice and matchplay tactics if players are interested in that. It is suitable to all players, whether you're a total beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome. Matches will last 15 - 30 minutes depending on the level which is generally a wide range of beginners to advanced players.

Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

We're usually at the tables in the middle of the building - just look out for the yarn :) There's a choice of cafes, including the Bakehouse & Starbucks.
