There's been a bit of demand for a meet-up on the south side of the city so we're going to trial a new location. You'll find us in the main bar. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. Late comers always welcome, you just might have to wait a little for a game to open up. **The meet ups are free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. A special FREE beginners session for those of you looking to begin a new sport or just looking for a bit exercise! All skill levels and experience are welcome so just sign up here, or check out the Dublin Dodgeball page on Facebook/Instagram. We are in the Bluebell community centre for this session. This is a 5 minute walk from the Blackhorse and Bluebell Luas stops, and is well served by Dubin Bus also. We do a few minutes of warm-up followed by a few training drills for the game and then playing dodgeball and games until the end. All you need is normal sports gear so anything you feel comfortable running around in. If you like it you can join other training sessions and learn more about tournaments and trips coming up in the future.

\*\*Each week we typically have 2-3 spots open to players from this app. This is why you will only see 2-3 attending. The others are regulars and we coordinate in a private WhatsApp group\*\* We play a 6v6 game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use is spacious an ideal for 6v6 (ball/all bibs provided). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also invite a handful of pickup players to play from this app. If pickup players like the vibe they might have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and always played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

We are a group that plays Starfinder, a tabletop RPG. We are relaunching the games in Dublin and for that we need new players like you. We will explain the rules to you and help you create your dream character. A weekly board game meet up in "Mc Mahon’s Bar and Eatery" which is a pub. We get our own section, it's wheelchair friendly and parking is free! 🙂 Whether you are new or a veteran player you are all are welcome! General guidelines are: 1. Avoid handing drinks to people OVER a game. 2. We cannot take responsibility in the event of theft so keep your valuables close to you. 3. Strictly over 18+ only. The "rules" would be: 1. Be respectful to each other. 2. Don't be a creep. 3. Be patient to players of all skill levels. Failure to be a decent human being\* will jeopardise your participation in future events. The pub owner is really nice and are letting us use the space so if you can - please buy a tea, coffee or a drink on the night to support them if you can but don't feel obligated to do so. They also do food so you won't go hungry! The event starts at 7 PM and everyone is free to play until 11 PM where we'll wrap it up for the cleaners.
