Feather shuttles are included. 🎯 **Level** This is an **Intermediate+ session**. You should be able to play clears, smashes, drops, drives, and net shots consistently in games. All players **must be at the right level** for this session. Badminton levels vary between clubs, so we strongly recommend checking out our **Instagram page** to see what *we* class as **Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, and High Intermediate** before booking. We always use the **first game as a level check**. If it becomes clear during that game that the standard isn’t the right match for this session, **you won’t be able to continue beyond that point**. Fun and experienced doubles badminton! We play over four courts each Tuesday, bring your own kit and racket. £9.00per person for 2hrs; quarterly payments should be discussed with Eli is desired. if less than 24 notice is given for a cancellation then the session fee will have to be paid. we need this so other people on the waiting list can attend. We play with plastic shuttle on most courts; feather available as advance request. Important note: Our club is paid for by individuals; as such your attendance and payment is required when making a commitments to play - as a matter of respect, please ensure that you consider this when saying you will attend. We're finally back at Sobell Leisure Centre: \- Tuesdays 7pm\-10pm \- Courts 1a\-1d \(courts 1a\-1c after 9\.20pm\) \- Sobell Leisure Centre\, Tollington Rd\, London N7 7NY\. We are a friendly, competitive club for players at high intermediate to advanced / league standard. Not suitable for beginners or lower intermediates. We are always looking for new competitive players. The club has a regular attendance of around 25 players, and will be participating in the Middlesex league in ladies' doubles, men's doubles and mixed doubles in the 2025/26 season. We play doubles or mixed doubles only, with top quality feather shuttles. Please RSVP if you like to attend, or don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. Guest Fee is £17 for the 3-hour session. Enquire for our membership options. Please be prepared to pay by bank transfer or cash. Season 12 of PlayOn English Pool Leagues at Hurricane Room in Kings Cross will be starting on Wednesday 27th May! Season 12 had 18 players across 3 Divisions (ranging from beginners / casual to top club players). This is an English Pool league (Blackball Rules)... and all abilities are welcome, as long as you know the basic rules. If you are interested in joining, just contact me so I can find out a little more about your playing standard, and we'll take it from there! Its pretty straight forward and chilled :) Matches are races to 9 racks. Points are awarded for Wins, Break & Dish, and Convincing Wins. There will be promotions and relegations for the top and bottom players in each Division, plus trophies for the Division winners. NOTE: By signing up to Season 12, you will need to commit to play once per week for the duration of the league (roughly 6 weeks). Of course if you can't make a week due to unforseen circumstances / holidays etc, then you must be willing to catch up your matches as soon as possible, or you may forfeit the points to your opponent. You can play your match on any day of the week that suits both you and your opponent (**there is no physical meet up on Wednesday 27th May**). The cost to enter is £25 (my fee for organising the leagues). This needs to be paid before you play your first match. Table fees need to be split between both players: **Discounted League Rate - £10 per hour** Sunday to Wednesday ALL DAY... Thursday to Saturday before 6pm (Otherwise... **About Session** **King of the Hill** **4 courts for 4 hours** **£14 per person** Mechanics are as follows: 1. At the beginning of the session, we will randomly designate the King/Queen of the Hill. This will placed on the white board. 2. If the pair wins their game, they remain as King/Queen. If the pair loses, the bands pass to the winning pair and that pair shall now become the reigning King/Queen of the Hill. Each match pairing and score must be written down so we can track the King/Queen of the Hill. 3. The reigning pair must play together until they are defeated or until the end of the session, whichever comes first. If the pair separates, the King/Queen of the Hill will go to a random pair on court that has won their game at that moment. 4. The reigning pair may be challenged by anyone, given a reasonable amount of rest and following the usual "no 360" rules. 5. If one or both of the reigning pair leave before the end of the session, they shall cede the King/Queen of the Hill to their last opponents who are still present. 6. At 45 minutes left in the session, only players that have played at least 2 (or 3 depending size of session) King of the Hill games may challenge the King of the Hill. 7. The pair that is King/Queen of the Hill 10 minutes before the end of the session (5:50PM) will be declared winners of the event. Prize to be announced in the WhatsApp group.

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
