Coaching and drills for 60 minutes followed by 60 minutes of games with Badminton England UKCC Level 2 Coach. Players will be encouraged to play in the main session and to apply what has been learned. This session is designed for players who are looking to improve their badminton, perhaps with an eye on playing league badminton. DETAILS The session is Thursday 6.45PM till 9.55PM All 3 courts will be available for games. Players are requested to finish the games by 9.50PM and leave the premises by 9.55PM. This session was previously for higher intermediate levels however we have now changed to a lower intermediate level. Strictly a non beginner session. We pride our sessions that everyone plays with everyone to keep it a friendly and fun session. We also understand that there is a need for being competitive and we welcome that also. We play with feather shuttles and welcome intermediate (minimum 2 years playing) to advanced players. We play fast paced games, but we are also very friendly helping each other to improve. Please do not attend our sessions if you are beginner, we can recommend local coaching to get you up to speed. We close RSVP 24 hours before the session as we need to book the courts in advance. After that, please message us directly so we can confirm if we can still accommodate you, if you don't get an answer, assume there is no spot for you. Please message Committee members if you would like to add on a guest. Break the strings on 2 racquets, or break a racquet during the session and your session is *free*. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
