There will be well-known standards and lesser-known or even obscure gems chosen from anywhere in the entire history of R&B. Talk & Tea is a relaxed Friday evening gathering featuring an inspiring spiritual talk led by Jahnavi Ma or an experienced IVS UK teacher. After the talk, tea is served and the space opens for informal conversation, allowing participants to mingle, meet one another, and share reflections, questions, and insights inspired by the evening’s theme. This gentle, welcoming format is ideal for newcomers and those who enjoy thoughtful dialogue in a warm, community setting.

Every week is a badminton academy for improver/intermediate/advanced standard. I also run nine teams that play in leagues out of the academy. Unfortunately this class does not cater for beginners! Wanting people who wish to enjoy and improve with games and advice with a coach who has played county and national level badminton, and has also played for England. Just come along, bring a racket, very friendly atmosphere! Class from 7.30 - 9.30pm weekly, £14.00 per session or £35.00 for three sessions t be paid up front and must be used within six months, payable by cash only. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
