We're taking our girl time to the pool!
Whether you're a confident swimmer doing laps or someone who just wants to float around and decompress after a long day â you're welcome here. This is a recurring Wednesday series for us to stay active, refresh our minds, and of course, have a good chat by the water.

Hi, ich bin Georg. Ich weiĂ, ich bin ein Mann. Warum moderiere ich dann diesen Workshop?

Abenteuer Freundschaft ist mein Beruf. Am Anfang war ich auf Männer-Freundschaften spezialisiert. Ăberraschenderweise waren 60 Prozent der Newsletter-Empfängerinnen Frauen. Frauen scheinen die Wichtigkeit guter Freundschaften viel mehr zu spĂźren.

Deshalb habe ich letztes Jahr angefangen, Workshops fßr Frauen anzubieten. Soziale Träger, das Rathaus SchÜneberg und das Frauenzentrum Begine haben mich bereits fßr Freundinnen-Workshops gebucht. Im Frauenzentrum moderiert eine Bekannte die Workshops.... denn da darf ich noch nicht mal rein :).

Hallo,
Willkommen zur Handarbeits- und Gesprächsgruppe! Wir treffen uns von 14 bis 16 Uhr in der Psychosozialen Initiative Moabit. Bei Kaffee/Tee und Kuchen sitzen wir in entspannter Runde zusammen und arbeiten an Strick-/Häkel- oder anderen Handarbeitsprojekten oder ähnlichem und kommen so auch gerne ins Gespräch. Alle sind herzlich willkommen (auch ohne Strickerfahrung!!). Wir haben vor Ort auch ein paar Stricksachen und Wolle, die alle mitbenutzen kÜnnen :)

Portrait Drawing on Sunday Afternoon
This group is for everyone who is interested in drawing portraits!
For me, drawing has been a wonderful way to gain a new perspective on the world and the people within it.
Whether you are just starting out or have been drawing for ages â all levels are welcome :)
How it works:
1\. We meet at The Castle pub in Mitte and do short sittings of 15 minutes for each other\. The first sitting is divided into 3 warm\-up sketches\, 5 minutes each\.
2\. Before we start\, everybody writes their name on a blank card \(provided by the organizer\); these cards are then used to randomly pick the model every 15 minutes\.
3\. Usually we do 8 sittings\, with a 15\-minute break in the middle \(so after 4 sittings\, or 1 hour\)\.
-> The participation is free, but it is expected that everybody orders something from the bar to support the lovely location.

This Cuddle Puddle offers a safe, consent-based space for people of all genders within the LGBTQIA+ community to experience non-sexual touch, communal connection and rest. Guided exercises support emotional wellbeing, boundaries, and self-awareness.
**Cuddle Puddles** are structured, guided spaces where people can experience the benefits of non-sexual touch â such as reduced stress, nervous system regulation, and a deeper sense of belonging. Touch, when consensual and caring, can support emotional resilience and mental health.
This **Cuddle Puddle** is open to all genders within the LGBTQIA+ community, creating a space where diverse identities can meet beyond gendered expectations. A non-gender-restricted setting allows for broader empathy, mutual understanding, and connection, while honoring individual boundaries, choice, and safety at all times.

**Was ist Regenerative BerĂźhrung?**
Regenerative Touch ist ein monatlicher Workshop fßr Queer People, bei dem wir uns gegenseitig helfen, langsamer zu werden, in unseren KÜrper zu kommen und in einer unterstßtzenden und nährenden Umgebung die wohltuende Wirkung von regenerativer Berßhrung erkunden. Berßhrung, die im täglichen Leben oft ßbersehen wird, ist ein grundlegendes menschliches Bedßrfnis.
In diesen Workshops schaffen wir einen Raum, der ausschlieĂlich ihrer regenerativen und heilenden Kraft gewidmet ist, frei von romantischen oder sexuellen Konnotationen.
BerĂźhrung kommuniziert direkt und erreicht Orte, die Worte nicht erreichen kĂśnnen. Hast du jemals die beruhigende Wirkung einer warmen Umarmung oder einer trĂśstenden Hand auf deiner Schulter erlebt? Selbst ein kurzes 15-minĂźtiges Handhalten kann zu einer signifikanten Senkung der Herzfrequenz und des Blutdrucks fĂźhren und eine starke Entspannungsreaktion signalisieren. **NVC & Voice Workshop**
This workshop brings together **Nonviolent Communication (NVC)** and **voice work** as two complementary paths of exploring how we express, listen, and relate.
NVC offers a way to understand what is truly alive in us â beneath judgments, reactions, and habits of language. Voice work opens a direct, embodied channel to express that aliveness â beyond words, through sound, vibration, and presence.
When these two meet, something shifts: Communication becomes not only something we *say*, but something we *feel, hear, and resonate with*. Perhaps even something we *are*.
**What we'll explore**
Throughout the day (or weekend), we will move between these two practices, letting them inform and deepen each other:
* How to share authentically â and listen in a way that truly receives another
* How voice can reveal what words alone cannot
* How we can connect deeply to ourselves and others through our authentic sound
* How judgments point toward deeper, meaningful needs
* How the **4 steps of NVC** can be experienced not just cognitively, but in the body
* How needs live in us â and how they can be expressed through both language and sound
* How empathy can be practiced not only through listening, but also through collective voice
**Weâll explore this through:**
* Guided check-ins (spoken and vocal)
* Partner and group exercises
* Embodied explorations of resonance and vibration

**Martina Pesce**
Hi, I'm Martina. I came in contact with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) through a relationship where I started to grasp the beauty of this tool. After 3 years of self-study and occasional practice, I was touched by how this communication allowed me to connect with my mum in conflict, so strongly that I felt love for her for the first time in 20 years.
Unsatisfied with the lack of mental health support in the neuroscience research field, I decided to switch careers and dive deep into NVC. I trained as a mediator, counsellor and trainer at the Connecting2life school (Yoram Mosenzon). It was a two-year-long process of embodying the tool and then learning how to transmit it so that it could sink in the body. For a year I've been holding my workshops, courses and 1:1 practice.
My approach is based on practice and embodiment. I found NVC very revolutionary and with that respect, I like to let sink in our system a few bits of info at the time, rather than an overwhelming waterfall of theory.
**Anne Loek Beernink**
Anne Loek has been an actress in film and
television during the earlier stages of her
professional career. Her deep interest in the
power of the human singing voice led her on
a profound journey of personal and
professional transformation. Her work supports
the process of re-wilding, of nurturing a
deeper and more authentic relationship with
one's own body and innate creative potential.
She explore, creates and holds space in the
fields of voice, sound, movement, personal
growth and ancient wisdom. Her work intends
to contribute to connecting one with one's
deeper calling.
She studied Holistic Voice Therapy and
received training in Collective Vocal
Improvisation in the UK and Germany. She
holds a M.A. in Integral Movement and
Performance Studies from Rose Bruford
College London in collaboration with the ITPC.
