Welcome to the Inner Seasons Collective! A space for women to explore cyclical living and feminine wellbeing through education, reflection, and community. Our first gathering will take place on a gentle Sunday afternoon in Sarphatipark on July 5th, from 3:00–4:30 PM. Together, we'll explore the concept of the *inner seasons*: the four distinct phases of the menstrual cycle and the unique shifts in energy, emotions, creativity, and awareness that accompany them. Each season brings its own challenges and gifts, offering an opportunity to deepen self-understanding, wellbeing, and connection to our bodies. We'll discuss practical ways to support our inner seasons through nourishment, movement, planning, rest, and mindfulness, as well as how cyclical living can help us work with our bodies rather than against them. The first part of the gathering will include a short introduction to the inner seasons, followed by open discussion, reflection, and community sharing. Facilitated by Samantha, who studied Biology at the University of Michigan and Food Studies at Slow Food's University in Italy, and is passionate about helping women reconnect with cyclical living and holistic wellbeing. Beyond her work with cyclical living, she co-hosts the plant-based dinner and dialogue communities Gastrosophy and Three Gems Amsterdam. Whether you're completely new to cyclical living or already familiar with the concept, you're warmly welcome. Maki-e is a traditional Japanese lacquer decoration technique. Techiniques are involved drawing pictures, patterns, and letters on the surface of lacquerware using lacquer, and then sprinkling and fixing metal powder, such as gold or silver, onto the surface.
