[WOMEN ONLY] Social Sisters SG Weekly Dinner Meetup! 🎉
[WOMEN ONLY] Social Sisters SG Weekly Dinner Meetup! 🎉
We’re so excited to host our **Social Sisters SG Dinner Meetup!** 🎉 Come join us for a relaxed, casual dinner session— a perfect chance to meet new friends, share stories, and exchange cultures in a fun and friendly group setting! 🌸 Location: **Marina One** Time: **7-9pm** (Feel free to come and leave earlier or later!) Price: **$2 to RSVP. Paynow to 89897063** 📍**Note:** Social Sisters SG is a space for genuine connection and friendship — not for business promotion or MLM (multi-level marketing) activities. You’re welcome to exchange contacts, but please do so at your own discretion. 📌 We try to keep our events **small and cosy**, with slots limited to **12 participants** per event. However, with the number of RSVPs and potential no-shows, it can be hard to gauge whether someone who has RSVP’d will eventually turn up. This sometimes means that interested attendees remain on the waitlist unnecessarily. Hence, from **15 January 2026**, we’ll be introducing a **$2 RSVP fee to ensure attendance**. This will help us plan better, potentially reduce no-shows and keep events fair for everyone 💛 Follow us[ @socialsisterssg](https://www.instagram.com/socialsisterssg/) for real-time updates on our exact location within the foodcourt or any unexpected venue changes on the day itself ✨

In this talk, I will be exploring approaches on how we can design data systems and history-preserving data models that can handle late-arriving data in the modern AI data stack."* **Expected agenda:** **6.30pm - 7.15pm** \- Registration\, Pizzas & Networking **7.15pm - 7.20pm** \- Introduction **7.20pm - 8:00pm** \- Talk by Chin Hwee **8.00pm – 8.30pm** \- Q&A **8.30pm –** End of event Hope to you all soon! Systema Regular Group Class (Adults & Teens, All Levels)
Systema Regular Group Class (Adults & Teens, All Levels)
**For ages 13 and above.** Systema is a Russian Martial Art founded by the late Colonel Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev. Systema was designed to develop individuals in a combative style which upholds the intrinsic value of all human life. This is why it is non-destructive – even of one’s enemies. Through the use of simple exercises, breathing techniques and massage work, Systema helps you to build a strong mind and body. Here is what you can expect: **Warm ups** Class begins with warming up each of the systems of the body – from the breathing, muscular and nervous system, each component needs to be properly engaged. **Thematic studies** Fetching from a huge pool of drills and sometimes even crafting specialized ones, our instructors format a logical progression of the concept being shared. Depending on the ability of the class, the drills are modified to be at the optimal level for learning, with suitable modifications given to students based on their individual performance. **Application of concepts** After the thematic studies, some time is given for the students to apply the training – the intensity is decided upon by the students under the supervision of the instructor. At times, the instructor will request for the students to push themselves, while at other times they are there to taper in the sparring to a productive level. **Cool downs** The cooldowns are usually done in a way both the help the class recover from the higher intensity application section as well as to revisit the concepts again in a calmer manner. This helps to ensure everyone is reminded of the key points. Sometimes we do a little massage. **Training circles** At the end of every training session, we circle up to share a few words about the training. This tradition was handed to us from our founders and is an integral part of our training. ### **Address** Lor 23 Geylang, #03-05 37, Singapore 388371 ### **Schedule** Saturdays 10AM - 12PM ### **Booking Information** * Please contact **98225900** to find out how to book this class. * The instructor will reach out to you once you've booked the class.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems: * Using running totals * Performing operations in intervals * Identifying data gaps and islands * Performing aggregates without losing detail Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them. Demonstrations with several examples will solidify how window functions can simplify queries and make them more powerful.
