* Lepší vhled do práce s citlivými daty (např. zdravotní data pacientů) a s tím spojených etických otázek
*
**Kdy:** 25\. 3\. 2026\, 17:30–20:00
**Kde:** MSD Five Auditorium, Na Valentince 3336/4, Praha 5
**Program:**
* 17:30 – 18:00 Registrace
* 18:00 – 18:10 Zahájení (MSD, VŠE)

Mirrors of the Self: We do not meet others as they are, we meet them as we are
**Welcome back to The Prague Experience Exchange**
This time, we explore one of Carl Jung’s most fascinating ideas: that every person we meet is a mirror reflecting a hidden part of ourselves. We think we see others, but often we’re seeing our own projections, our persona, and even our shadow. Through simple mirroring exercises and shared reflection, we’ll discover how identity is not something we own; it’s something we co‑create. So let’s begin by meeting not just each other, but the parts of ourselves that only others can reveal.
### **5‑Minute Mirror Exercise**
Participants pair up and spend:
* 1 minute, silently observing each other
* 4 minutes sharing what they think they noticed
This exercise illustrates Jung’s idea that we do not see others as they are, we see them through our inner images, shaped by the persona, shadow, and projections. Mirroring reveals:
* what emerges in the shared psychological space between two people.
## **Personal Trait Sharing**
In duo, each participant states one personal trait they believe defines them, shares a story or anecdote. This activates the Jungian persona, the part of the personality we consciously present to the world.
Examples: “I’m direct.” “I’m shy at first.” “I’m analytical.”
## **Group Reflection**
Partners reflect back in the group discussion:
* how this trait appeared (or didn’t appear) during the mirroring exercise,
* how they interpreted the trait based on their perception.
This step brings in Jung’s concept of projection: We often see in others what we admire, fear, or deny in ourselves.
Reflections are expressed with curiosity (“It felt like…”, “I interpreted it as…”), not judgment.
## **Self‑Insight Response**
Participants respond briefly:
* what felt accurate,
* What surprised them
* what they learned about how others perceive them.
This creates a loop between the self‑concept, the persona, and the shadow, the parts of ourselves we do not fully see until others reflect them back.
## **Debate Question**
We will present one central question to the whole group

The Graduate
This 1967 film is widely regarded as one of the best American movies ever made. Now remembered almost as much for its Simon and Garfunkel music as its deadpan comedy and being the role that established Dustin Hoffman as the hottest actor in Hollywood. It became a cultural icon for capturing the spirit of 60s angst of a young man on the make, while garnering a batch of Oscar nominations.
After watching the movie on your own, join us to relive (or experience!) those feelings at our discussion.
From Web Forms to Web Components - Burton Smith
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
**Abstract**
Web Forms gave .NET developers a powerful abstraction for building reusable UI controls long before design systems were a thing. Web Components finally bring that same idea to the browser natively.
This session explores how the Web Forms mindset translates into Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML templates. We’ll examine how Web Components enable design systems that work across frameworks, how they differ from server‑driven controls, and why they’re becoming a foundational layer for modern UI. Whether you’re maintaining legacy apps or building greenfield projects, you’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to apply familiar patterns in a modern, standards‑based way.

Risky Business
...and speaking of breakthrough roles: who can forget the first time we saw Tom Cruise singing Bob Seeger in his underwear? Often considered an updated 1983 version of The Graduate, the movie sparkles with memorable lines and original music. I only regret that I was never told that "Princeton could use someone like Bob..."
See the movie first and join us for some "Cruisin'"
