Join us for a practical acting workshop that delves into scene analysis and character exploration. Many actors rush to performance — but skipping scene analysis and proper character work can mean missing the heart of a scene. In this session, we will explore the essential (and often overlooked) step of breaking down a scene, then getting on your feet and going through a series of exercises. You will then apply what you've learned - bringing the scene to life through performance which can be taped on the phone in class. A scene will be sent a day in advance. Through practical tools, and guided exercises, we’ll help you uncover what drives each character, different ways to deliver the scene and how thoughtful analysis leads to truthful, compelling choices. Whether you’re an actor, writer, or director, this workshop will give you a deeper understanding of story, sharpen your interpretive skills, and elevate your creative work.

This well-proportioned flip-lidded box is constructed of European redwood using a single dovetail joint at each corner and the fitted hardwood lid is attached to the base by a handmade ‘dowel’ peg hinge. In anger, he allies with his former enemy Aufidius and marches against Rome. As destruction looms, his mother, Volumnia, pleads with him to spare the city. Moved by her words, he relents, choosing honor over revenge. His decision saves Rome but seals his fate, as he is killed for betraying his allies in return.
