Dear All, I thought about going to the North of the country this time. However, some of the connections suffer from "Schienenersatzverkehr". Instead, we go East. The train station in Wasserbillig doesn't suffer the same fate. But how do we get to Wasserbillig? There is this nice CFL trail starting in Manternach. I plan a lunchbreak after around 8 ½ km. At that point, we should be done with most slopes uphill. You can happily eat too much without worrying about gravity not letting you hike uphill. Weather forecast: below 0 degrees and cloudy Starting point: Train station Manternach Destination: Train station Wasserbillig Public transport: RB4810 direction Wasserbillig at 10:42 from Luxembourg Gare Centrale Other means: There is parking near both train stations for cars AND bikes.
