Talk & Tea is a relaxed Friday evening gathering featuring an inspiring spiritual talk led by Jahnavi Ma or an experienced IVS UK teacher. After the talk, tea is served and the space opens for informal conversation, allowing participants to mingle, meet one another, and share reflections, questions, and insights inspired by the evening’s theme. This gentle, welcoming format is ideal for newcomers and those who enjoy thoughtful dialogue in a warm, community setting.

Every week is a badminton academy for improver/intermediate/advanced standard. I also run nine teams that play in leagues out of the academy. Unfortunately this class does not cater for beginners! Wanting people who wish to enjoy and improve with games and advice with a coach who has played county and national level badminton, and has also played for England. Just come along, bring a racket, very friendly atmosphere! Class from 7.30 - 9.30pm weekly, £14.00 per session or £35.00 for three sessions t be paid up front and must be used within six months, payable by cash only. Chess is often described as a universal language. Yet, for many women and girls, access to that language has historically been limited due to a range of factors, including societal expectations around the role of women, the value placed on their time and hobbies compared to family and work responsibilities, and broader barriers linked to education, employment, and social opportunity. The **London Women Chess Club (LWCC)** was founded to change that. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. These events are usually held at Day's Paper Palace (my home). However, this is a placeholder for the event and it may be moved to the Grove City Library.
