The Aquarian Tea Party - The Alchemy of Emotions
This is a paid event ($50)
Tickets: https://www.trybooking.com/DJLFG
This meetup is an experiment in inner craft: what happens when you treat emotions as material you can work with—like colour, heat, pressure, and timing—rather than as a problem to explain.
We’ll begin with a tea ceremony - a practical way to shift attention and set a tempo. Then we’ll watch a 20-minute film that explores emotional alchemy: how certain states thicken everything, how others clarify, and how small changes in attention can change the result.
Emotions here are treated like an inner alchemy set: not just “feelings,” but energetic forces with different frequencies that can be transformed. Raw emotions (even the heavy ones like fear, anger, or sorrow) aren’t mistakes to delete—they’re the base states. With mindful awareness—watching what you feel without judging or shoving it down—you start to see what they’re made of, where they come from, and how they can be refined into clearer qualities like compassion, understanding, and love.
We lean into classic alchemy imagery to map the process: trials burn off emotional “impurities,” letting-go dissolves old patterns, and reintegration creates a more balanced self—like turning inner lead into gold. The heart is the main crucible, with love and compassion as the essential ingredients, and the goal isn’t to become emotionless, but to become skilled: responding with steadiness instead of reacting on autopilot. Along the way, emotions act as symbolic messengers, showing up as archetypes and shadow material (the shadow, the phoenix, the warrior, the labyrinth), guiding the return to wholeness.
This is a whole-body, soul-level process: emotions ripple through your mind and your nervous system, show up in your breath and muscles, and move through you in patterns you can learn to meet with more balance and grace. We are invited to see emotions not as random mood swings, but as meaningful ingredients in our own inner laboratory.
**Important:** this is **not** counselling, therapy, coaching, or any professional service. This gathering is for people who want a fun afternoon of ideas, tea, and conversation—learning the craft of alchemy and magic.
How 3 yr projects can be delivered in 3 months - no kidding!
For our March meetup we are excited to host Darryl Wright who will demonstrate how you really can deliver 3 yr projects in 3 months using Value Stream Mapping and Flow Efficiency.
Find out what other organisations are doing to slash the time it takes them to deliver value, and how you can do it too.
This talk explores:
1\. What is Value Stream Mapping \(VSM\)\, and Flow Efficiency ?
2\. What does VSM reveal about how most organisations deliver value today ?
3\. The big lightbulb moment: can 3 yr projects really be delivered in 3 months? \(hint: yes\!\)
4\. Where to from here ? \(and can I use AI to help with all of this ?\)
And then, as we always highly encourage participation to embed what we learnt, we'll give the method a go ourselves with Darryl's expert guidance.
**Meet your Speaker - Darryl Wright, Value Delivery Advisor and Trainer at Organa**
*The only constant in life is change.*
Darryl comes from a strong commercial and delivery background borne from two decades of experience in traditional IT project and program management and running IT businesses.
This led him on a journey to find more successful and humane ways of working, becoming an Enterprise Agile coach and trainer. He is now a passionate champion of changing the way the world works.
His guiding vision is to assist organisations to become great places to work that have happy, effective staff who create brilliant products and services that their customers love.

Making Moves: Small-Group Coaching for Women in Product
## Hey Columbus WIP peeps!
## Are you ready for an event that actually gives you what you asked for??
**\-\-\-\-\-\-**
**A Small-group coaching conversations for women in product navigating growth, leadership, and career decisions.**
**March 10 \| 5:30–8:00 PM**
**Rev1 -- NEW SPACE**
**330 Rush Alley #100**
**Parking Options:**
• **Rev1 at The Peninsula**
• **Starling St. Garage South** – 377 W. Capital St.
• **LAZ Parking (COSI)** – 50 Belle St.
• **LAZ Parking Limited** – 375 W. State St.
• **Veterans Memorial Lot** – 300 W. Broad St.
• **Metered Street Parking**
**What moves are you making?**
A promotion you’re working toward.
A role change you’re considering.
A bigger leadership opportunity.
A conversation that needs to happen.
A decision that’s been sitting in the back of your mind.
For our Q1 Women in Product Columbus event, we’re creating space to actually work through those moments.
**Making Moves** is an evening of focused, facilitated coaching conversations with experienced mentors from our local product community. This isn’t a panel. It’s not passive networking. It’s small-group dialogue designed to be thoughtful, practical, and worth your time.
Here’s how it will work:
• You’ll choose a topic that reflects what you’re navigating right now
• You’ll join a small coaching circle (5–7 participants)
• Each circle is led by a mentor who has lived experience in that area
• We’ll run two rounds so you can go deeper or explore a second conversation
### Coaching Topics:
• Communicating the Value of Your Work (or Team)
• Career Transitions & What’s Next
• Growing Into Leadership
• Staying Relevant as Technology (and AI) Changes
• Getting Alignment and Decisions from Leadership
Our goal is simple: you leave with clearer thinking, practical perspective, and at least one next step you feel confident about.
Space in each circle will be limited to keep conversations meaningful.
If this sounds like the kind of room you’ve been wanting to be in, we’d love to see you on March 10.

Quarterly Goals Reset for Product Professionals
One of the most valuable parts of this community is the opportunity to think out loud with other product professionals. This session is built for exactly that.
As we wrap up the quarter, it’s a great time to pause and reflect. What’s on track? What needs adjustment? Where could a small shift create bigger impact?
Join fellow product professionals for a focused, interactive conversation designed to help you recalibrate for the next quarter. You’ll have the opportunity to share where you are, hear how others are thinking through similar challenges, and gain fresh perspective you can bring back to your team and organization.
We’ll gather at 8:00AM, with discussion starting promptly at 8:15AM.

Mjomii Dessert and Coffee House
Mjomii is a sweet and wonderful place with very high quality desserts and teas. It is kind of small, so if it is crowded, there may not be seating for everyone the whole time. If you can take a small break from work and come over and say hi and get a "pick-me-up", that would be great!
