I didn't want to post any sooner because I wanted to see the weather.* Trektours is organising a hike this Saturday in Ķemeri. I'll be attending and this will be my third hike with them. So far each have been very well organised and with lots of enthusiastic people - since the weather is expected to be nice and springlike, I am posting this here so that those of you who want to enjoy the spring can join. In case you decide to come: 1\. buy your ticket at the website above\, also pick your distance\. I'll be doing the 15 kilometre hike\. 2\. I'll be taking the 10:20 train to Ķemeri and therefore we are meeting at the Laima candy store area of the Central Station at 10:00\. Buy your train ticket for yourself\. NB: you are free to get there whenever you feel like it, within the time range detailed on the organisers website. Bring your food, drinks, proper cloting etc. Expect a large crowd who attend the event through Treck Tours, the organiser company. **And to recap: the hike is a paid event, see the ticket link above.**

For our Q1 Women in Product Columbus event, we’re creating space to actually work through those moments. **Making Moves** is an evening of focused, facilitated coaching conversations with experienced mentors from our local product community. This isn’t a panel. It’s not passive networking. It’s small-group dialogue designed to be thoughtful, practical, and worth your time. Connected Westerville Night of Networking flips the script on networking, with surprises and connections that'll make you say, "Who knew networking could be this much fun?!"

Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other. Please bring a dish to share and anything you would like to drink. We will provide plates, plastic silverware and napkins. So, come hungry and ready to chat!

Mjomii is a sweet and wonderful place with very high quality desserts and teas. It is kind of small, so if it is crowded, there may not be seating for everyone the whole time. If you can take a small break from work and come over and say hi and get a "pick-me-up", that would be great!

In this talk, you will learn how to talk to your phone and have an app on Azure to show your friend 5 minutes later. The basic DevOps tools you already know, plus a little bit of AI magic, are all you need! If you want to follow along, the demo will be in Azure with GitHub Actions and GitHub Copilot, and you can have it set up on your phone by the end of the session.
