Mavericks Bouldering â A Casual Climb & Hangout in Berlin
A small NEXUS gathering built around movement rather than discussion alone.
This is for high-bandwidth Mavericks who spend most of their time in conceptual thought and need some physical counterweight. Why bouldering? Because itâs deliberate: short problems, full focus, and immediate feedback. Youâre on the wall, solving something tangible. The mental noise drops instantly!
Conversations happen naturally in between climbs. No pressure, you move at your own pace. Some exchanges stay light. Others go deep. Both are fine. This is not about athletic achievement. Itâs about presence, recalibration, and being around people who donât require you to shrink or translate yourself.
Come as you are. Try some bouldering problems. Rest when needed, and engage where it makes sense.
**Bring comfortable clothes and climbing shoes if you have them (rentals are available at the gym).**
*Registration equals commitment. If you sign up, you show up. Read the group description first and decide consciously. For context about NEXUS, visit our* ***[website](https://thenexusformula.com)*** *and* ***[newsletter](https://news.thenexusformula.com)****.*

Sunday Tech Coffee Meetup
Welcome to Sunday Tech Coffee. This is a **networking** event for those in the tech industry in Berlin.
We are usually inside and to the right. Ask the barista/bartender if you can't find us.
[face to face] Interview Simulation
Join this **Interview Simulation** session â to sharpen the skills for both interviews **and** architectural pitches.
đĄ How it works
The event is split into three parts:
1. **Answers for common behavioral questions** \- at the beginning\, I will read some common interview questions\, explain what they mean\, and give the correct answers\.
2. **Interview Simulation (10 minute rounds)** â One participant acts as the interviewee and answers a round of behavioral and design-focused questions. Each other participant gets to ask him one interview question.
3. **Feedback Round** â The group provides feedback on communication, structure, and clarity. Constructive criticism is encouraged.
đĄYou will be asked:
* **Behavioral questions** (âTell me about yourselfâ, âDescribe a challenge you faced...â)
* **Technical questions** (based on your tech stack)
* **Light design problems** (high-level reasoning, not code)
No need to prepare anything in advance â just bring curiosity and an open mind.
Feel free to bring your CV if youâd like feedback from others, or share a few words if youâre currently job hunting. If so, we will also brainstorm answers to more common questions that you were asked.
Whether youâre preparing for an interview or simply want to grow as a software designer or architect, this session is for you.

Filmmakers & Movie Nerds Meetup #170
Curious what we do? Check our [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/filmmakersandmovienerds/) âĽď¸
Would you like to meet some like-minded filmmakers? Start a project? Or do you need help with a movie you are currently working on? Are you new in the city and you'd like to meet people tinkering with movies?
**Then you should join us!**
We meet every Sunday. Itâs important to us that we get to know each other in person. To create a community of connected people, work, learn and grow together. For film making you need a crew of reliable people with a positive can-do-attitude. This is the place to find them.
Together, we will talk about these topics:
* What you are currently working on
* What you need help with
* What would you like to help with
* What you you would like to learn
This is event is great for:
* filmmakers
* movie nerds
* writers
* camera operators
* editors
* actors
* sound recorders
* composers
* gaffers
* producers
We are limiting the amount of people, so we can have a structured introduction and discussion. After that we get together loosely with some drinks and chats. And then we mostly go for dinner with a couple of us.
**Important information**:
*To sustain and grow this amazing community, we started a member contribution that is due every month. The money we collect is used solely for the purpose of the community. Of course you can come once or twice without contributing to check us out!*
Screenwriting Focus Group | Filmmakers & Movie Nerds
**đŹ Screenwriters' Meetup Invitation đŹ**
This meetup is for anyone passionate about storytellingâwhether youâre a screenwriter, filmmaker, producer, or someone with a great idea looking for the right collaborators. Whether youâre just starting out or deep into your screenplay, this is the perfect space to create, collaborate, and refine your work.
Weâre trying a new format for this session. The theme will be âLoneliness in a Connected World.â
The session is structured in two parts. During the first hour, weâll collectively explore the topic and gather as many perspectives, experiences, observations, and ideas as possible. In the second hour, weâll use this material to shape a story framework, focusing on a basic three-act structure and clarifying the core elements of a potential narrative.
What I ask from you is simple: before coming, take some time to reflect on the theme.
What is your personal relationship to loneliness in a highly connected, digital world? How does it feel? What experiencesâyour own or those of people you knowâcome to mind? You donât need to write anything down in advance. Just come with a clear point of view and a few thoughts youâve already considered.
The goal is shared thinking, not preparation or finished concepts.

You can!
The secret to success relies on your ability or inability to effectively communicate. Attend a free seminar and gain a better ability to communicate.
