Vibe Coding Finland: January meetup with CBRE @ Ilmalanlinna
Vibe Coding Finland: January meetup with CBRE @ Ilmalanlinna
Welcome to our January's meetup in Helsinki, arranged together with CBRE @ Ilmalanlinna, https://ilmalanlinna.net/en/ CBRE offers small refreshments on-site (coffee, sandwiches). Schedule: 17:00 Doors open! 17:30 Welcome words by organizers and CBRE **17:40 "From Zero to €400K: Building Finland's Comedy Ticket Sales Platform with AI" by Antti Akonniemi, Founder @** Nauramaan.com What happens when you stop treating AI as an assistant and start treating it as your entire engineering team? Antti built Nauramaan.com—Finland's leading (and only) comedy ticket sales platform—from scratch, from 0 to processing €400K in ticket sales within a year. All this with code that's predominantly AI-generated. He'll walk through the evolution from "curious prompt engineer" to running a profitable SaaS with 50+ monthly events, 90% margins, and Finland's biggest comedy producers as partners. No theory. Real revenue. Real lessons. Including the parts that went wrong or horribly wrong. This talk covers how his workflow has evolved from simple prompting to orchestrated AI development, plus how he uses AI for design decisions—not just code. Perfect for founders who want to ship faster and developers questioning whether they need a team anymore. Antti is sofware development entrepreneur and stand-up comedian. Founder of Kisko Labs, WODconnect and Nauramaan.com \*5 min break\* 18:15 **"Me and Claude in a trenchcoat pretending to be a company" by Elina Patjas, the ceo the cto the designer the support agent the tiktok intern and the girl who fixes the build at 2am @ Lexie,** [lexielearn.com](https://www.lexielearn.com/) I built this thing called Lexie because I saw kids are told to “study” but have no framework for what effective practice actually looks like. Lexie fixes this: they take a photo of their study materials and Lexie forces them to recall instead of just reread. No gamification theater. No streaks. More than 2,500 ppl use it now. Some of them even pay me. Oh and I’m a designer. Was a designer? 15+ years making pretty interfaces for other people’s ideas. Then AI happened and I realised can just… build things now? Myself? Without begging PM’s to prioritize my feature? So I made the whole thing by talking to Claude because I found out I could. Didn’t need a team or money or patience for meetings. This talk is the whole story. Where Lexie came from, how I built it by talking to Claude, and what I learned about learning along the way. \*5 min break\* 18:50 **"AI at DNA: Lessons from Using GenAI in a Telco" by Antti Riikonen, Head of Data & AI (B2B), DNA** AI is creating value for telcos: revenue growth, better service, and greater efficiency. Antti shares DNA’s corporate business view on AI, highlighting DNA’s value creation areas with recent practical examples and lessons learned. 19:15 Mingling / free discussion etc 20:00 Doors close **About us** Vibe Coding Finland is a community for developers, designers, business professionals and tech enthusiasts who love to vibe code, learn, and connect in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Sahaja Yoga meditation course in English
Sahaja Yoga meditation course in English
Welcome to join our Sahaja Yoga meditation meetings in English! The meetings are free of charge and you can just show up. The group consists of people of different ages and nationalities who have been meditating different periods of time. Newcomers are welcome at any time. We normally sit on chairs or on pillows on the floor, so there is no need to bring a mat and you can wear normal clothes. Meditation means mental silence or thoughtless awareness. You are present here and now, but your mind is not bombarded by thoughts from the past or the future. In this state, you feel peace and joy, which are the essential elements of the present moment. With regular practice of meditation, it is possible to establish this state within us. The group is lead by volunteers who are experienced and can offer guidance to get you started. We give a short introduction to the meditation and after that we do meditation exercises. We also give tips on how to meditate at home. After the meditation class, we have a cup of tea and there is time for questions. Welcome! We hope to see you in our meditation meetings! Software ate the world, Agents are eating Software Engineering
Software ate the world, Agents are eating Software Engineering
2026 may be the last year many developers write code by hand. We need coding agents to solve complex problems in production codebases, but vibe coding alone won’t get us there. Vibe coding is all gas, no brakes. It burns up the context window until the agent slips on its own slop. You can go fast at first, but the more you stuff into the context window, the more tangled its outputs get. While the industry is rapidly increasing code generation speed, we still have to understand, review, merge, and maintain what gets shipped. This talk featuring Michael Geiger will outline how coding agents (Claude Code + Gas Town) work and a framework for orchestrating them to solve complicated problems in complex codebases. It’s about steering the model: doing the research to align intent, planning the approach up front, implementing in parallel steps, and breaking early. Human judgment still matters, but it should be spent on high-leverage decisions: what to build, what to forbid, and “what is quality?”, not cleaning up slop. Attendees will leave with a checklist to identify workflow and environment gaps that hold agents back, so you and your team can ship higher-quality software starting tomorrow.

Intro to GitHub Copilot: Your AI Pair Programmer - Chris Steele
Intro to GitHub Copilot: Your AI Pair Programmer - Chris Steele
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 **Abstract** GitHub Copilot is rapidly changing how developers write, understand, and maintain code. Powered by generative AI and deeply integrated into modern development environments, Copilot acts as an intelligent coding assistant, helping developers move faster while maintaining quality and focus. In this session, we’ll explore what GitHub Copilot is, how it works, and where it fits into a real-world developer workflow. We’ll break down what Copilot can (and cannot) do, where it can be used, and how licensing differs for individuals and organizations. Most importantly, this talk goes beyond theory with a live, hands-on demo showcasing Copilot inside the IDE and on GitHub, demonstrating how it can assist with code generation, refactoring, learning new APIs, and accelerating day-to-day development tasks. Designed for developers, technical leads, and engineering managers, this session provides a practical introduction to AI-assisted development, highlights best practices for getting value from Copilot, and closes with guidance on how to continue learning and evolving alongside this rapidly advancing tool. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how GitHub Copilot can enhance productivity, improve developer experience, and fit into modern software teams today, not someday. **YouTube Link** TBA
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Doing KPIs Right
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Doing KPIs Right
**Doing KPIs Right: a KEY to Analytics (and AI!) Impact!** On the one hand, KPIs are such a Business 101 concept that it may seem a little silly to dedicate an entire session to the topic. On the other hand, KPIs get handled so poorly so often that a case could be made that this meetup could just be one of the most impactful sessions of the entire year! We’re starting off the year at a new location: [COhatch Upper Arlington](https://www.cohatch.com/locations/columbus/upper-arlington/) but with a familiar speaker, Tim Wilson! We’ll be back at Rev1 in February, when the speaker will presumably not be Tim. Tim will make the case that effectively measuring performance of projects, campaigns, and initiatives (and even meetups!) should be a foundation for any data analytics program. Topics covered will include: the “two magic questions” of performance measurement, how to help business partners distinguish between outcomes and outputs, and effective tactics for collaboratively establishing KPI targets. He will also stick his neck out by demonstrating some of these techniques in real-time by measuring whether his talk lives up to the promise of this description! All CBUSDAW events are free thanks to our 2026 Sponsors: Clarivoy, Conductrics, What Box Consulting Group, and Piwik PRO. Check out [cbusdaw.com](https://cbusdaw.com) for more information.
