Agentic AI - Building Agents for Real-World Applications
Agentic AI - Building Agents for Real-World Applications
**Join AWS & Skai for an evening dedicated to one of the most exciting frontiers in GenAI: Agentic AI for real‑world, production‑grade applications.** **Expect cutting‑edge insights, deep technical exploration, live demos — and of course, there will be pizza, beers, and great conversations.** We’ll break down how to design, build, and operate AI agents at scale through a real case study: Celeste AI, the GenAI Marketing Agent built for Commerce Media. Celeste AI already powers hundreds of brands and agencies, delivering up to 50% higher operational efficiency and 20% stronger performance. From there, we’ll dive into the architecture behind agent‑based systems, including multi‑agent collaboration patterns — the same concepts behind tools like Claude Code (sub‑agents, agent teams, orchestration flows) — but implemented with full transparency and control. We’ll demonstrate these patterns in action using AWS Strands, a popular, code‑first open‑source agentic framework. To wrap up, we’ll explore what it really takes to bring agents to production: scaling, security, observability, operations, and evaluation. You’ll see how Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and its nine modular enterprise‑grade services streamline the entire lifecycle from prototype to production. **Why Attend?** * Discover real-world use cases for agentic AI * Participants will gain a practical framework for building a GenAI agent that goes beyond theory. * Get inspired by tools, frameworks, and research pushing the boundaries of Agentic AI **Who Should Join?** * Software Engineers & Tech Leads * AI/ML Engineers & Data Scientists * Product Managers **About the lectures:** * **Avi Ben Yossef** is Sr. Director of AI & Optimization @ Skai. He is data science, big data & gen AI Expert, with over 14 years of experience in building various systems, both from the field of machine learning, recommendation, Agentic AI, and optimization systems. * **Gili Nachum** is an AI Solutions Architect in AWS, working with Israeli leading companies on implementing ML and AI solutions in the last 8 years. Gili has 25 years of software development experience. * **Orgad Kimchi** is a Senior Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services. He serves as the customer’s advocate and assists his customers in achieving cloud operational excellence focusing on architecture, AI/ML in alignment with their business goals. **Full Agenda** * **Pizza & Beers** 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM IDT * **Building agents for Real-world application, Celeste AI** 5:30 PM - 6:10 PM IDT Avi Ben Yossef, Sr. Director of AI & Optimization @ Skai * **Dive deep into building agents by using AWS Strands and AgentCore** 6:20 PM - 7:00 PM IDT Gili Nachum, AI Solutions Architect @ AWS Orgad Kimchi, Sr. Technical Account Manager @ AWS

🍕 **18:00 – 18:30** · **Gathering, Pizza & Drinks** 📣 **18:30 – 18:45** · **Welcome + Latest Claude Code Updates** · Boaz Ziniman - Claude Israel User Group 💻 **18:45 – 19:15** · **Claude + AWS: New Ways to Build Together** · Eitan Sela - Principal GenAI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect @ Amazon Web Services Discover how Anthropic's Claude tools integrate with AWS to unlock new ways of working. We'll explore Claude Code, the agentic coding assistant that lives in your terminal, powered by Amazon Bedrock, and Claude CoWork, Anthropic's agentic AI that lets anyone delegate knowledge work like reports, spreadsheets, and file organization from the Claude desktop app. Through a live demo, we'll connect Claude Code to AWS services via AgentCore Gateway and MCP servers, showing how developers can access tools dynamically with a single connection. Whether you code or don't, this session shows how Claude and AWS work better together. 👾 **19:15 – 19:45** · **Shipping with Claude: Lessons From Real Projects** · Ran Isenberg - AWS Hero, Principal Software Architect @ Palo Alto Networks I ship with Claude every day, on my personal brand website, home projects, and my daily job. I am not a Claude master, but the LinkedIn flood about the latest Claude bells and whistles misses the point. The tool matters far less than the person holding it. Using it correctly, with the right configurations and state of mind, is what moves the needle. In this talk I will share the setup and insights that help me deliver. We will cover real Claude Code and Cowork use cases, how to expand both with community and custom skills, and how AI SDLC frameworks like BMAD bring structure to this non-deterministic domain. Everything is grounded in real projects and will be shareable. 🍻 **19:45 – 20:00** · Drinks & Geek Out Claude User Group Israel 🇮🇱. A joint meetup with the AWS User Group Israel, hosted at the AWS office in Tel Aviv. Claude Code is powerful, but if you’re not careful, it burns tokens fast. This session is about working smarter: how to structure your prompts, manage context, and get more done per session without watching your costs spike. We’ll cover practical techniques developers are using right now, from reducing unnecessary context to getting Claude Code to produce better output on the first try. Talks and topics will be announced shortly. RSVP now to hold the date. **Who should come?** Developers actively using Claude Code who want to get more out of it. This is not a general AI overview, we’re going straight into the workflows. **Venue capacity is 200. Seats are first come, first served - arrive early to avoid missing out.**

Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing. **SPEAKER BIO** Mosaic Syed is a Senior Data Engineering and Cloud Solutions Architect with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across global enterprise environments. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mosaic-basha-syed-92300856 **CALL FOR SPEAKERS** Learn more: [https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/](https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/) **THANK YOU** *VEEAM* for hosting our meetup!
