TOG will be open on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 to 21:30 for a general Open House event. Expect to find members and visitors in the space up to all sorts of activities. It's a great time to drop in and see what the space is about. If you're an artist, tinkerer, maker or just plain curious, come in and see what the space is about. Maybe you already have something to work on (or want to), have something to fix, create, design, bodge or tinker... drop in. We're also open for just for plain old social chat and hang out, with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. We have lots of free parking right outside our door.

**++Looking for new players++** We play a 6v6 outdoor game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use has been recently refurbished with plenty of space to move around (*bibs provided*). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We generally don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also need a handful of pickup players (men) every week. If pickup players like the vibe they have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis... usually €60-€70 per quarter. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

Details: Ring out 2025 with a last blast in the hills climbing to Glencullen before a return to Dublin along the coast from Killiney. Distance: 50kms, 500m ascent. Note that there is a long unbroken climb of over 400metres from Rathfarnham up towards the Glencullen valley. Here is our plan for the day. We meet and leave Portobello Harbour, Rathmines at 10.30am. We cycle out through Terenure and Rathfarnham before beginning the 400metres climb up towards Glencullen. We will have a coffee/refreshments stop at Johnny Fox’s pub in Glencullen. From Glencullen we descend to join the coastal route from Killiney through Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock and back to the city. Please wear a helmet and bring a tube, etc., in case of a puncture. The topic for January is "Chemistry" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome.
