Looking for a fun, active way to spend your Saturday afternoon? Join us for a relaxed table tennis social designed for intermediate-level players who enjoy a good rally and want to meet new people.
This meetup is all about friendly games, rotating matches, and good vibesโcompetitive enough to keep things interesting, but social enough to chat, laugh, and make new friends between points. Whether you come solo or with a buddy, youโll be welcomed into the mix.
What to expect:
* Casual singles and/or doubles games
* Players around an intermediate level (you can rally and know the basics)
* A social, inclusive atmosphere
* Plenty of play time and chances to connect
Bring your bat, wear comfortable clothes, and come ready to play and socialize. Letโs spin some balls, share some laughs, and build a great table tennis community!

**Thunder Pong ้ทๆปไนไน Friday Table Tennis For Developing to Intermediate Players**
**(3 Hours 7pmโ10pm)**
Join us at **Thunder Pong**, the ultimate ground for table tennis enthusiasts.
A private table tennis place catered for **developing to intermediate level players**.
If you are still building consistency, improving rallies, and gaining confidence in match play, this session is perfect for you.
**Skill Level**: This session is open to **developing to intermediate level players.**
If you can sustain basic to moderate rallies, are working on a more consistent serve, and are eager to improve your overall game, we encourage you to participate.
We kindly request that participants have a **basic understanding of the gameโs rules** and are committed to **fair play.**
**Equipment Requirements:**
Please bring your **own table tennis racket.**
We will provide **table tennis tables and balls.
We use Nittaku / DFish / DHS 3-Star 40+ balls** for consistency, but you are welcome to bring your **preferred equipment** if desired.
**Venue Features:**
Venue is equipped with **high-grade 7mm ITTF-approved flooring**, ensuring safe and comfortable playing conditions.
Venue is equipped with air-conditioning for a comfortable playing experience.
**Rules and Regulations:**
1. **Timing:** The event will run from **7:00 PM to 10:00 PM**
2. **Footwear:**
**Only indoor court shoes are allowed on the game area while playing
RUNNING SHOES, TRACK SHOES, OUTDOOR SHOES OR SLIPPERS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED**
3. **Safety:** Please ensure you follow all safety guidelines and play responsibly. Any damage caused to the equipment or venue will be the responsibility of the individual involved.
4. **Confirmation: Spots are limited**. To secure your spot, please **RSVP** by joining the waitlist. Priority will be given to regulars on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. **Waitlist:** If you are on the waitlist, you will be notified if a spot becomes available.
6. **Hygiene:** To maintain cleanliness and prevent damage to the table tennis area, no eating is allowed inside the playing area.
**RSVP:**
**$9 per session**
Payment by **PayNow only.**
Please join the **waitlist** to confirm your attendance.
Once you are moved to the **RSVP (Going) list, payment must be made at least 48 hours before the session starts.**
**Unpaid slots may be released to players on the waitlist.**
As much as we would want more numbers, **maximum capacity of 8 pax is allowed per session.**

Weโre still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun!

Curling Beginners Clinic
**TRY AN OLYMPIC SPORT IN A FUN, BEGINNER-FOCUSED CLINIC!**
Enjoy 15 minutes of off-ice basics, 50 minutes learning to sweep and deliver stones, then play a couple of ends with your group.
Afterward, join us in the warm room for broomstacking (socializing) with your teammates and opponents.

**What to wear:**
Clean rubber soled tennis shoes (required), loose/stretchy clothing (no jeans), and warm layers - ice ranges 32-40 degrees F.

COLUMBUS RECREATION CENTERS require membership fee to play. Register & Pay at the desk when you arrive. $5 day pass is available.
I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you donโt have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.

Columbus Ski Club Happy Hour on third Wednesday
Please join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month to learn more about the Columbus Ski Club and what we have to offer. Pizza, wings and a variety of appetizers provided. We are a non-profit organization founded in 1958 with over 800 members. The club has grown beyond the single mission of providing members with not only quality skiing events but also year round social and sport activities. Our gatherings are an opportunity for members and non-members to interact and learn about the many activities offered such as euchre, billiards, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, bowling, golf & softball leagues along with ski and non-ski trips. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc.
CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. Membership is required in order to participate in most club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out our current activities and socializing. The annual dues for club membership are $35 with the membership year from September 1st โ August 31st.
