Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a male model. Please bring whatever art materials you're comfortable with. Each session begins with warm-up short poses of two minutes, which are then followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. The subjects are professional nude models, working for the Académie de la Grande Chaumière as well other Parisian art schools and ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials. After the session, we come together for a relaxed drink and chat. It's a chance to share your drawings from the session and discuss drawing tips & techniques. You can also connect with fellow artists, exchange contacts, and promote your artistic projects. Pendant cinquante ans, sans militantisme mais avec constance, aux quatre coins du globe, Martin Parr a dressé un portrait saisissant des déséquilibres de la planète et des dérives de nos modes de vie. This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.
