Fun Social Monday âGalaxyâ Run
Come join us for a trail social run, jog, walk as your favourite stormtrooper and explore a galaxy trail far away.
We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in âabout usâ.
How it works: we donât know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize.
Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 18:30.
Donât worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up.
Four-legged friends are welcome!
We never cancel.
See you there!

The Benefactors by Wendy Erskine
Having discussed a brilliant macro economist's take on the world order and the pervasiveness of the dollar the selling sentence "A novel about intimate histories, class and money - and what being a parent means. A daring, polyphonic presentation of modern-day Northern Ireland that ought also be funny." seemed to be what was most effective. And so, this work of fiction was picked as our next read.
Conveying what a book is really about in one sentence is impossible, and trying is an exercise in advertisement. The sentence chosen to describe this book is accurate, but given the perceived first-impressions from the meeting an appeal to patience may be in order. Another way of shortly describing this book could be "This is a difficult book to pin down; itâs brilliant, but itâs also for a very particular type of reader, one willing to follow a long, dark rabbit hole without needing even an inkling of the light on the other side. This is a book that offers its satisfaction in greater measure if youâre looking for extraordinary richness in character, experimentation in form, and a sense of play in language. If youâre just looking to be told a story, this would be a mildly infuriating reading experience." I do hope we'll all enjoy it.
Goodreads's blurb goes like this:
\`\`From the prize-winning author of Dance Move and Sweet Home, this is an astounding novel about intimate histories, class and money - and what being a parent means.
Meet Frankie, Miriam and Bronagh: three very different women from Belfast, but all mothers to 18-year-old boys.
Gorgeous Frankie, now married to a wealthy, older man, grew up in care. Miriam has recently lost her beloved husband Kahlil in ambiguous circumstances. Bronagh, the CEO of a children's services charity, loves celebrity and prestige. When their sons are accused of sexually assaulting a friend, Misty Johnston, they'll come together to protect their children, leveraging all the powers they possess. But on her side, Misty has the formidable matriarch, Nan D, and her father, taxi-driver Boogie: an alliance not so easily dismissed.
Brutal, tender and rigorously intelligent, The Benefactors is a daring, polyphonic presentation of modern-day Northern Ireland. It is also very funny.\`\`
The paperback edition, published by Sceptre, is 336 pages, while the audiobook, also published by Sceptre, is nine hours and fourty-four minutes.

Finally! Someone who gets Agile and DevOps â to the pointđ¤
**[Klaus Bucka-Lassen](https://www.linkedin.com/in/buckalassen/)**: *An agile advisor and consultant with 25+ years experience with helping organizations streamline their agile processes.*
**[Lars Kruse](https://www.lakruzz.com/):** *A Continuous Delivery and DevOps evangelist and consultant with 25+ years experience with helping organizations streamline their SDLC processes.*
**For 25 years we've been preaching the basic principles of Agile and DevOps to teams, colleagues and clients.** Both Agile and DevOps have been declared DEAD many times. But now it's apparently *un-dead* (pun intendedđ¤ˇââď¸), as Agentic AI matures by the hour â a whole new breed of code contributors are entering the stage.
And they get EXACTLY what it's about: **Agentic AI may just be the the best Agile and most DevOpsy team mates one could dream of.**
What could possibly go wrong now?
You are hereby invited to a **short intro** (roughly 30 mins, expect slightly *provocative* and *opinionated* content â something that old men are still way better at than AI) followed by a facilitated **lean coffee discussion** on an *apocaloptimistic* perspective on:
***"What the heck is going on in Agile and DevOps Right Now"***
The venue is a bar đť - so do not expect anything other than lively discussions with peers.
We're kicked out of the Workbar at 19:00 by the latest, but if the sentiment is right we may continue on to somewhere else and grab a bite after.
\- Cheers\!
Outdoor Football - 9 vs. 9 @ FĂŚlledparken Astroturf
We're continuing with Saturday evening Football / soccer â˝ The field is not booked and the event is for free đ Usually the field is available at 6 PM, but if it's booked by a local club, we must move.
Last minute sign-offs will be banned đĽ for future games if it happens more than once and no reason is given.
The game is for all levels, genders đŚđ¨ and people wanting to have fun. We keep it friendly and respectful.
Everyone who can should bring a ball and a pump. Also don't forget to bring a black and a white T-shirt as we do not have bibs.

Time for improv fun!
Welcome for some fun improv games together :)
About us: We are a bunch of people of all ages and backgrounds, gathering to share the common passion for improv.
Improvisation, or Improv for short, is a form of live theatre in which the story, characters and scenes are without a script and made up in the moment, completely different every time. The actors are acting, directing themselves, writing the plot and interacting with each other all at the same time without previous planning.
Improvisation can help you with your social and business skills by training your mind to think quickly and react to unexpected situations. In Improvisation, there are no lines to memorize and you play off other creatively challenged fun-loving, global-minded people who loves laughing at themselves.
Itâs a great way to socialize and make new friends. Itâs a welcoming atmosphere, we want you to join in the fun, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced improviser â come and lets enjoy together!
We usually start with some warm-ups that help us relax, listen and focus. Then we move on to doing different kinds of short scene fun games with each other, making characters, stories and our small worlds. In improv mistakes are welcome and you will have goooood times!
We charge 50 kr in advance in order to cover our expenses. Swish is king!
See you very soon ;) Please come only if you are in good health!

From Data & AI to Real Impact
AI is everywhere, while impact isnât. Weâve moved fast â LLMs, copilots, agents â but many organizations are still asking the same question:
**Why isnât this driving real business impact?**
This panel is not about what AI could do. Itâs about whatâs actually happening inside teams today:
⢠The gap between investment and outcomes
⢠The human side of adoption we donât talk about
⢠The pressure to adopt fast â and what it takes to make it stick
Join us for a candid conversation lead by Monique Marins, AI & Data Leader at Trustpilot, on what it really takes to go from AI hype to real business impact.
Weâre bringing together an incredible panel of women in tech â each with hands-on experience across data, product, digital experience, and communication:
* Sara Mehrabi, VP Data, Analytics & Decision Intelligenceâ¨@ COWI
* Cecilia Fernandez, Product Manager Experience @ Mastercard
* Larisa Andrei, Director Digital Experience & Applications @ 3Shape
There will be time for **networking**, **shared experiences**, and **practical tools** to take with you.
**Come curious. Leave inspired and connected.**
**SETUP FOR THE DAY:**
Panel discussion and the focus on small group conversations to enable personal and professional relationships to evolve from this community meeting.

1. Ask for the area reserved for âTechWomenâ.
2. Take a seat at one of the reserved tables.
3. Order and pay for your choice of beverage/snack at the counter.
4. Get back to your table.
