Join us at the Intercom Dublin office for an evening focused on the "Last Mile" of data engineering—turning solid infrastructure into immediate business value.
Over the last two years, Intercom migrated to Snowflake and rebuilt our data foundations from the ground up, creating a trusted, high-quality layer of core data models. But we realized that great data is only useful if people can actually use it.
In this session, the Intercom Data team will share how we are moving up the value chain—going beyond static dashboards to build intelligent, interactive tools that empower our GTM teams.

**Breaking the SQL Barrier: Scaling Insights with Claude & Snowflake**
Even with perfect data models, the "SQL Wall" often forces business leaders to wait in a queue for answers. We’ll demonstrate how we used Claude Code and Snowflake MCPs to remove this bottleneck, allowing non-technical users to query our Data Warehouse directly and create sharable artifacts of their analysis. See how we combined strict governance with an AI interface to turn "data tickets" into instant, self-serve answers.
**From Insight to Action: Building 'Cockpit' on Snowflake Container Services**
While chat enables exploration, some workflows require action. We will pull back the curtain on Cockpit, a full-stack application built by our Data Science team to help Relationship Managers optimize customer outcomes. Learn how we used AI-assisted coding ("vibe coding") to build the app and Snowpark Container Services to deploy it—proving that Data teams can build powerful software, not just reports.
**From Idea to Real-Time Fraud Detection in Snowflake ML**
In this session we’ll build a real-time fraud detection service end-to-end inside Snowflake. Starting from a natural language idea, we’ll use AI-assisted development to generate synthetic transaction data, explore patterns, and train an ML fraud model with Snowflake ML. We’ll then deploy it to Snowpark Container Services and expose a low-latency REST endpoint for live transaction scoring. You’ll leave with a practical pattern you can reuse for other real-time ML use cases such as credit risk scoring, real-time recommendations, or anomaly detection on operational data in Snowflake.

Relating Lab: The art of receiving
**An evening for over-givers**
I asked the people who follow my work: "What's harder for you: giving or receiving?" The answers came back almost identical. Giving is easy. Receiving doesn't always come naturally. People described it as a burden, a debt, an awkwardness, a thing they'd been taught they had to earn first. One person said, "It's safer not to want."
Most of us were trained to be *over-developed givers* and under-developed receivers, and we live the rest of our lives slightly off-balance because of it. The Relating Lab is a 105-minute group session to explore this topic, guided by a psychologist.
**Who this is for**
* You can give for hours. Receiving for five minutes feels strange.
* When someone gives you something, you feel like you owe them something back.
* You don't always know what you actually want.
* You notice yourself trying to be worthy of the good things in your life.
* You wish for more affection in your friendships without awkwardness.
* You suspect that the way you were taught about love and worth in childhood is still running quietly in the background.
**What we'll do**
* A guided meditation on a recent moment when receiving felt hard
* Paired work with a simple exercise that can change how you understand every interaction in your life.
* A closing sound bath where you receive together.
* A closing circle.
**What this is not**
This is not therapy. Not a workshop you'll have to perform at. Not a "share your trauma" circle. Just come as you are and give this topic the time it deserves.
*Your only task is to **receive**. Not to deserve it. Not to repay it. Not to make anything happen. Just let it land.*

**About me**
I'm Olena. I'm a psychologist (PSI graduate member), doing a PhD in organisational psychology, with somatic and consent-based training on top. I run cacao ceremonies and cuddle therapy sessions in Dublin. The Relating Lab is a series of four events that I'll be running monthly through the summer. Each event is focused on a different quadrant of the Wheel of Consent. This is the entry point. Come and share this space with like-minded people.
**Everything is opt-in.** You can pass on any exercise without explaining why.
This event is an introduction to future workshops about giving, receiving, taking, and allowing. It's a safe space; the exercises might include some platonic touch (if you opt in). Every participant is invited to come with reverence for others in the group.

Howth Peninsula Guided Hike with Views

**How to know if you can handle the route: climbing to the 10th floor of a building is a 24-meter climb.**
**We'll be walking at a moderate pace with breaks. Small sections of the route run along steep cliffs.**

**📍 Start and finish point: Howth DART station. (We are right outiside when you exit the railway station)**

**Don’t dress up too warm, as you will warm up pretty well during the hike. I highly recommend to take tracking poles with you.

Bike Ride - Pickerington Ponds to Three Creeks
**Weather permitting**, we’ll take a casual ride from Pickerington Ponds (Glacier Knoll) to Three Creeks and back.
Distance is **18–25 miles**, depending on where we turn around and whether we add a side loop.
Pace is around **12 mph**, but this is a fun, no‑drop ride — we can slow down as needed.

The Alliance All-Voices Chorus Open Rehearsal
The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio.
**Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level. Previous barbershop chorus/quartet experience not required.

Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
