Vinyasa Flow in Mitte / Wedding
These vinyasa classes are positively dynamic, soft and strong as silk, always connecting to the deep, guiding you gently to the awareness of your breath to calm the mind and release the body of unnecessary tension.
Modifications of the poses are offered to better suit each practitioner, from experienced beginners to advanced. Taping into a background of cultural diversity, dance and massage therapy, these sessions are a holistic practice with asanas, free form movement, music, voice, and silence.
Each month the classes have a specific focus (i.e. twists, balance, resilience, chakras) to effectively process and develop the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Die Mittwochabend Klassen sind sanft kräftigend, dynamisch & schweiĂtreibend mit dem Ziel von Regeneration & Revitalisierung. Die Praxis besteht aus Asana-Praxis, freie Bewegung, AtmungsĂźbungen, Meditation und Entspannung. Marianne Schmidt, born to german parents in India, raised across the globe, she calls Berlin home. She is the founder of Soul Treats and works as a certified massage therapist, yoga instructor and life coach.
Marianne has been offering yoga classes and massage therapy for over eleven years. Fascinated by human anatomy and the connection between the psyche and the physical, her education is an ongoing process. Taping into many methods of body work, she treats clients and students holistically, by aligning the physical body with the aim of restoring balance on the emotional and energetical levels.
Dancing and performing since a yoga age, her yoga classes always include elements of dance, movement research and breath work.

Dieser besondere Deutschkurs ist fĂźr alle, die mit Spiel und SpaĂ ihr Deutsch verbessern wollen. Wir sind eine kleine Gruppe (max. 15 Personen) von Deutschlernern zwischen A2 - B2 und machen Theater-Improvisation auf Deutsch.
Aber keine Angst - das kann jede/jeder lernen!
Der Fokus liegt vorallem auf Sprechen und Verstehen, so daĂ du in Alltagssituationen spontaner reagieren kannst und mit dem Sprechen auf Deutsch flĂźssiger wirst.
Ich bin sowohl Deutschdozentin als auch Theaterschauspielerin und entwickle diese Methode seit mehr als 10 Jahren.
Der Kurs ist immer mittwochs und du bist herzlich willkommen, vorbeizukommen und uns kennenzulernen.

Laugh without Reason Event (DE/EN)
Important information: The event will always take place regardless of how many people attend the meetup. There is always a second laughter yoga conductor (Heidi) and a couple of other regulars who don't use Meetup.
Laughter Yoga is a unique concept that combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing to promote wellness and overall happiness. You will learn how to laugh without reason. The event is perfect for anyone looking to de-stress, boost their mood, and connect with others in a light-hearted and fun way. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to laugh.
**Do I need special clothing?**
* Just wear comfortable clothes. Please bring some thick socks or clean shoes for the room.
**Do I need anything else?**
* It is essential to stay hydrated. **Please bring some water**.

* Participation costs 5âŹ. Alternatively, you can use Urban Sports Club. These costs are mainly used to cover rent for the room, meetup fees, website, insurance, flyers, etc.

**What does an event look like?**
* We incorporate laughter exercises, breathing exercises, playful exercises, positive affirmations, and dancing. The event ends with a laughter meditation of \~ 15 minutes.
**What if I can't laugh?**
* Everything is voluntary. If you can't laugh, you can simulate it, and usually, people get into genuine laughter during the sessions. Laughter yoga is a great way to laugh more, to laugh deeper, and more frequently!
**How many people show up?**
* Usually, the group size is between 7 and 20 people. Regardless how many people sign up via meetup, the event will always take place. Many people don't sign up via meetup.
**Where is it?**
* It's close to U2 Märkisches Museum. The Kreativhaus Berlin Mitte has one entrance. Please be there 5 minutes before we start. After 7 pm, it might be closed, and you either have to ring the bell or go around the house and watch out for the yellow smiley flag. The session takes place in "Projektraum 2/3".
Sessions are either in German or English. We always make sure that everyone understands it.

Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donât just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.

BUZZ & REVIEWS: Overall some solid early reviews but this one seems to be a bit polarizing! Weâll have to see for ourselves. Those in the âloved itâ camp say is not the rom-com the trailers would have you to believe! Instead, a twisty darkly comedic drama thatâs âanchored by two compelling performances,â âan original idea, great cast, and a movie thatâs gonna have people talking at the end of it!â
PLAN: A slightly later showtime so weâll go with dinner before the show this time. Hereâs the plan: For dinner before the movie, meet at nearby BRASSICA between 5:45 and 6:00pm. Go through the line, and weâll try to snag as many of the high-top tables as we can. For the movie, please purchase your ticket for the 7:30pm showing and weâll meet in the lobby area between 7:00 and 7:15pm. Iâll be with the dinner group and will try to get there as close to 7pm as possible. Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater. When you purchase yours at counter, be sure to mention youâre with the Movie Group for admission and concession discounts.
