Victim of Love — A Comedy Show About Dating, Disasters & Bad Decisions
Victim of Love — A Comedy Show About Dating, Disasters & Bad Decisions
## [GET TICKETS HERE!!!](https://www.universe.com/events/victim-of-love-a-comedy-show-about-dating-disasters-bad-decisions-tickets-K76CQ5?ref=MeetUp) A brutally funny comedy show about dating disasters, heartbreak & bad decisions. Victim of Love by Kostyantyn — Feb 13 @TheComedyPub ### A brutally funny, painfully honest solo show by Kostyantyn @ The Comedy Pub Vienna ## 💔 Love hurts. But laughing about it? That’s therapy. *Victim of Love* is a raw, unfiltered, painfully relatable comedy hour about dating disasters, emotional chaos, and the questionable decisions that led one very well-dressed man to write an entire show about his love life. Kostyantyn takes the stage with nothing but a microphone, too much emotional baggage, and a long list of romantic failures — and somehow turns them into pure comedy gold. This is the kind of show where you laugh hard, nod silently, and think: **“Wow… I’ve made all those mistakes too.”** ## 🎭 **What’s the show about?** A 60-minute dive into the messy, modern chaos of trying to find love when everything seems designed to break you: * Dates that ended too fast * Situationships that lasted way too long * Red flags he absolutely ignored * Breakups that felt cinematic (but only to him) * Ghosting, love-bombing, mixed signals, emotional damage * And the exact moment a grown man says: **"I might as well turn this into comedy."** It’s sharp. It’s self-destructive. It’s painfully relatable. And yes — he probably *does* need therapy. ## 🎯 **Who’s this for?** If you’ve ever been: * ghosted * dumped * breadcrumbed * left on read * betrayed by your own optimism * or stuck in a relationship you absolutely should’ve ended months earlier …this show will not fix you. But it *will* make you laugh about it. Perfect for: ✔️ Comedy lovers ✔️ Singles who need catharsis ✔️ Couples who want to feel better about themselves ✔️ Anyone who keeps saying “never again” and then absolutely does it again ## 🍺 **About the Venue: The Comedy Pub Vienna** Vienna’s only dedicated comedy club — gritty, intimate, and perfect for a night of emotional oversharing. Full bar service, great sound, warm crowd, zero bad seats. 📍 **Kettenbrückengasse 7, 1050 Vienna** Come early, grab a drink, and settle in for an hour of romantic ruin and redemption. ## 🔎 **EVENT DETAILS** 📍 **Location:** The Comedy Pub, Vienna 📅 **Date:** February 13th 🚪 **Doors:** 20:30 🎤 **Show:** 21:00 ⏱️ **Duration:** \~60 minutes 🔞 **Age:** 18+ only 🍸 **Bar Service:** Yes 📸 **Photos/Video:** Allowed 🎟️ **Tickets:** via Eventbrite * Early Bird: €15 * General Admission: €20 * Couples Ticket: €17 per person * Group Ticket (4+): €15 per person ## ⚠️ One Night. If you love comedy that’s raw, personal, and brutally funny, this is your night. **Book now — seats are limited, and he can’t handle more rejection.** Victim of Love — a hilarious English comedy show about dating, heartbreak & bad decisions. Shut Up & Write!® - Sundays at Café Pierre
Shut Up & Write!® - Sundays at Café Pierre
Come write with us at Cafe Pierre every Sunday at 18:00-20:00! A message from Shut Up & Write: "Shut Up & Write hosts free, in-person and online writing events for writers all over the world. Our goal is to ensure that every writer—regardless of genre or skill level—has access to the resources, community, and accountability that they need to be successful in their personal writing goals." And what this looks like at our event: We chat and give short introductions to what we are working on at 18:00, then start writing at 18:15. Though we try to start on dot, being late isn't a problem—just find a spot and get to work! We write until 20:00 and then discuss how our writing went. From fiction to non-fiction, academic papers to poetry, applications to work-related writing—anything goes! Nothing is needed except for you to bring whatever is need to get stuff done, i.e. laptop, headphones, pen and paper, and so on. Optional socialising may happen before 18:00 and after 20:00, or you may choose to use this time to get some more done! Please do order something from the café (drink, meal, dessert, etc.) so as to keep us in their good graces!
Astrology for the Heart (Valentine's Day special edition)
Astrology for the Heart (Valentine's Day special edition)
**Written in the Stars: A Valentine’s 2026 Unique Connection** 2026 is off to an electric start! With the stars realigning in ways we haven’t seen in decades, there’s a massive "cosmic pulse" calling us to rethink how we perceive and express love, how we relate, how we open our hearts. Whether you're celebrating a partnership or honoring your own journey, this Valentine's edition is designed to help you navigate the language of the heart. Why Astrology for the Heart? Astrology is more than just "Who am I compatible with?" It’s a symbolic map 🌌 that reveals our deepest needs for intimacy, security, and joy. By understanding your birth chart, you’re not just looking at a map of the sky—you’re looking at a map of your own capacity to love and be loved. 💫 What Makes This Special: Forget the clichés. This isn't a speed-dating night or a lecture on why you should avoid Aries. Instead, expect a **fun, soul-centered guided experience** that blends astrological insight with creative journaling ✍️ and heart-opening meditation 🧘. You’ll have the chance to: * **Decode your "Love Language"** through your Venus and Moon placements. * **Explore 2026’s rare alignments** and what they mean for your relationships. The flow of the evening: Every session is a journey, and for this special Valentine’s edition, we’re focusing on the **Magic of Affinity**. * 🌙 **The Gathering:** We’ll open with a warm introduction, setting our intentions for the heart-space we’re creating together. * ⭐ **The Exploration:** Guided exercises in small groups to help you "read" the romantic and social potential in your own chart. * 💬 **The Reflection:** We’ll wrap up with an open discussion on the 2026 shifts and a Q&A to demystify any burning astrological questions. Who should attend: Whether you’re a complete beginner 🌱 or a seasoned stargazer, you are welcome here. This is a space for everyone—singles, couples, and "it’s complicateds" alike. PS: A contribution of €10 per person will be collected to cover the organization, energy and cookies. Additional donations are most welcome. > **Pro-Tip:** Please have your birth chart ready! If you don't have one, I recommend generating a free one at **astro.com** before we begin.

Sprachen Cafe: German / English / Italian / Spanish / French
**Note:** We are meeting outside again as the first one was very successful. There is also a picnic in the nearby location so we may try to learn languages while having fun and learning sports vocabulary. Bring a blanket to sit on and water and snacks if you like. This is a **free** event. Are you ready to practise your language skills? If you want to meet new friends (or the same friends you met at our other events) and practice all the languages you can speak, join us for a fun-filled evening! During this event, you have the chance to choose a Group and talk to people in: 1. **English** 2. **German** 3. **Italian** 4. **Spanish** 5. **French** Our most important rule: Please be respectful to others at all times. Yes, there will be a separate beginners' Group if you aren't fluent in the language yet! It is also a great place to find Tandem Partners for the languages you want to improve in! Get in touch with the Host upon your arrival and he/she will assist you. 🟢📱 here is our WhatsApp link https://chat.whatsapp.com/KtZ1TQB7lnUAJXK5NxwPQU Hope to see you there!!!

Run+B-fast
Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier. Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup. Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz
ADVANCED badminton players wanted!
ADVANCED badminton players wanted!
Thank you for visiting this event page! * Are you an advanced badminton player? If yes - WELCOME! * The earlier you sign up, the bigger your chance to reserve a place - once 9 other players have signed up already, you move to the waiting list. * Once the waiting list has 3 or more members, I will try to book an additional court, but no guarantees. I need to close the registration 24h before the event as I will then have to decide whether to cancel any court due to a shortage of players. You can still contact me if you want to play though. The fee per player will be €10.00 for 2 hours as the cost of both shuttles and court bookings have increased. But this should now cover also shuttles used during play. Please be on time as a curtesy to the other players. In addition, if you are on the players' list and don't come (i.e. no show), you will be automatically excluded from this group.

Humanist Community Celebrating Darwin Day
Humanist Community Celebrating Darwin Day
Dale Gnidovec, Curator of the Orton Hall Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will be presenting a program he has wanted to share with us for a long time: Plate Tectonics. His description of his program: Continents on the move - Nothing in Earth history makes sense without moving continents - it tells us why mountains, volcanoes, minerals, and fossils are where they are. This talk examines the evidence for continental drift, why it was disbelieved, and explains how the more-encompassing theory of plate tectonics was developed and eventually proven. Dale is an energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and very entertaining speaker and this will be another wonderful program by Dale. Hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided at the event.
