Sisterhood 🎀 BRUNCH, find new girl-friends
Blood on the Clocktower at BRLO Brwhaus!! (beginner/intermediate)
Blood on the Clocktower at BRLO Brwhaus!! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the special meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games at BRLO Brwhaus near Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!** Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, whether they’re heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration – “killing with grace, and dying with dignity”. We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters. Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception
think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team – the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle – or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers. We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a “Revolutionary” pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case. We are very grateful to our wonderful hosts at BRLO, and we ask all our players to support the venue by purchasing some food and/or drink during the event.

Let’s Play Azul & CATAN - Play and socialize
Let’s Play Azul & CATAN - Play and socialize
Join our **CATAN** Meetup to play, socialize, and enjoy this classic board game. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player. Expect fun, friendly games, plenty of laughter, and the chance to make new friends. This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry. 👉 **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.** *** **How to Play (Quick Guide):** * **Setup:** Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources. * **Turn order:** On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build. * **Resource production:** Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tile’s number is rolled. * **Robber:** If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.* * **Trading:** Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports). * **Building:** Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards. * **Victory points:** Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army. * **Winning:** The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. * 2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins. This keeps our game capped at **two hours**. ⏰ *** **Our Game Set-Up & Attendance Policy:** 1. We will have two CATAN sets available for up to six players each, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Since each game takes a considerable amount of time, arriving after a game has already started may make it difficult to place you at a table. 3. In such cases, you may need to place your first two settlements on the remaining available parts of the map—if space allows. 4. Please make sure to update your RSVP in advance. Failure to do so may cause unnecessary delays for everyone at the start. 5. Not showing up without notice will result in being blacklisted for at least one future meetup. ***

Monthly Book Club Meeting - March
Monthly Book Club Meeting - March
Dear Book Enthusiasts, For our March gathering, we’ll be reading *Raised from the Ground* by the Nobel Prize–winning author Jose Saramago. First published in 1980, this powerful novel traces several generations of landless peasants in rural Portugal, giving voice to lives shaped by poverty, repression, endurance, and quiet resistance. With his distinctive narrative style and moral clarity, Saramago explores labor, injustice, solidarity, and dignity, transforming collective struggle into unforgettable literature. 📅 **Date & Time:** 15.03.2026 at 15:00 📍 **Location:** Audrey coffee, Holzendorffstraße 18, 14057 Berlin 💬 **Fee:** As always, a 3 € contribution after the meeting helps cover organization costs I’m very much looking forward to discussing this moving and politically charged novel with you — and to sharing another thoughtful afternoon together. Warmly, Sofya P.S. kind thanks to Raimundo for a great present :)

2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley đŸ’Ș
2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley đŸ’Ș
Join us for intermediate and advanced play on **indoor** 2v2 courts. If you are not yet at the intermediate level (F1+) or want to play 3v3/4v4, sign up via [the simultaneous event](https://www.meetup.com/berlin-volley/events/) instead. We play with beach rules: do not use open hands for the first or last touches, do not touch the net, etc. We overbook slightly to ensure we have enough players and to allow individuals to take breaks. After playing, you can join us for socials with drinks and snacks at the bar area. It's recommended that you come 10 minutes early so you have time to change and find the fields. If it is your first time, 15 minutes might be even better. We play in domes that are heated up to at least 15C. You can join whatever court you like and move between courts during the event. We self-organize, so once you finish a game, you can start a rematch, mix with another court, or take a break as you see fit. Upon arrival, join the warmup happening on one of the courts. Join our WhatsApp community via [https://volley.berlin/WhatsApp](https://volley.berlin/WhatsApp) ([QR code](https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/f/d/5/highres_532249109.webp)) Follow us on Insta at [https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball](https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball) **Rules**: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. **Venue**: We play at BeachMitte. There are changing rooms, toilets, and hot water showers that cost 1 EUR. There are no lockers. There is a bar that sells drinks and snacks. **Payment**: You pay in advance via Meetup. Payment via PayPal or Urban Sports Club is not possible. **Refunds**: The venue does not provide refunds. Thus, we cannot refund you either, even in cases where the event is canceled due to bad weather. If you know you can't make it in advance, you can try selling your spot to someone else via WhatsApp or the comment section. You get a full refund if the event gets canceled due to poor attendance. Pictures might be taken and shared publicly, such as on Meetup or Instagram. You can opt out by letting the organizer know you do not wish to be photographed.
