Welcome \*\*to the ALX Dog Walk! \*\* We’re a nonprofit on a mission to make sustainable and plastic-free living fun through #FunActivism—thanks for joining us! **How do we do it?** We bring together pups and people for the biggest, barkiest 2k-mile dog walk event and Sustainability Festival in the DC, MD, and VA region and emceed by NBC4’s Chuck Bell! **Event Details:** * A scenic 2-mile (2K) walk through charming historic Old Town Alexandria, starting sharp at 8:15 AM from Oronoco Bay Park. * Over 2,000 dog lovers (and their adorable pups!) strolling together along the Potomac waterfront. * An epic post-walk celebration and Sustainability Festival at Oronoco Bay Park with music, games, and tons of fun! ALL DOGS MUST REMAIN ON A SIX FOOT LEASH WHILE IN THE PUBLIC WAY FOR THIS EVENT. ALL DOGS MUST BE SOCIAL AND DOG AND HUMAN FRIENDLY. This is a beautiful old cemetery in Georgetown with lots of trails to explore. **The event is free, but the cemetery will be taking donation towards their Oak Hill's Historic Preservation Foundation.
