HackCafĂŠ
RSVP [here on Luma](https://luma.com/dq9aq8wp)
â HackCafe: Build, Sip, Ship.
âBakuâs Architects, Seniors, and Founders: This is for you.
âForget the 48-hour marathons and the pitch decks. Weâre going back to the roots of pure development. HackCafe is a 3.5-hour "Sprint-to-Demo" session where we turn caffeine into functional code. No judges, no rankingsâjust high-level networking and shipping MVPs.
âWe are bringing together the three pillars of the Baku dev scene for one morning of intense building:
âđ The Stack (Provided for all Builders) To make sure we move fast, our partners are fueling the session with premium access:
âGoogle Develeoper Groups Baku: Instant access to Google AI Studio & Gemini API Keys and GCP credit
âAWS User Group Baku: AWS Credits to deploy your backend/infra on the spot.
âCursor Baku: Cursor Credits to experience the fastest AI-assisted coding environment.
âđŻ Who is this for? We are specifically looking for experienced developers and architects who:
âWant to Socialize: Skip the LinkedIn networking; meet your peers while actually building something together.
âWant to Experiment: Have a "weekend project" or a new AI tool youâve been dying to try? This is your window.
âValue "Shipping": We don't care about perfect code. We care about a working demo in 3 hours.
âđ The HackCafe "Un-Rules" The Cafe Tax: The event is free, but we support our local hosts. Every builder must buy at least one coffee/snack.
âNo Slides Allowed: Your "presentation" at the end is 2 minutes of showing us your code or your running app.
âBias for Action: Don't spend 2 hours on setup. With Cursor + AWS + Google AI, you should have a prototype running in 60 minutes.
ââ° The Schedule 11:00 AM: The Pitch Fire (Find a partner or grab your credits).
â11:15 AM: Deep Work & Hacking.
â2:00 PM: The Demo Reel (Rapid-fire show & tell).
â2:30 PM: Networking & Wrap-up.
âđ What to Bring Your Laptop & Charger. (Power outlets are limited, so come with a full battery if possible!)
âAn Open Mind. Be ready to help a neighbor or learn a new tool.
âA "Bias for Action." Don't spend 3 hours choosing a CSS frameworkâjust start building.
âNote: Space is limited by the cafe's capacity. Please RSVP only if you are 100% sure you can make it.

Columbus Arduino Raspberry Pi Enthusiasts (CARPE) (Check Location)
Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration!
This session is open forum to share your current projectsâwhether complete or in progress, itâs all interesting! Whether youâre deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, youâll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired.
**New to electronics or curious about tinkering?**
Youâre absolutely welcome. If youâre a beginner and want to experiment, Iâll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things outâwhether thatâs blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience requiredâjust an interest in learning and building.
While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, weâll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.

Free in-person event: Take Control of Your Mental Health
Itâs time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you arenât aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, youâll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.
Arthouse Friday: THE DRAMA at the Drexel Theatre!
Join us as we get together for an Arthouse Movie Friday event to see the A24 dark comedy /romance / psychological-thriller, THE DRAMA! The film stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as a happily engaged couple whose relationship is challenged when one discovers unsettling truths about the other. Here are details, a trailer and our plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: The film follows a happily engaged couple whose relationship is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails. The film comes from A24, is written/directed by Kristoffer Borgli stars Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates and ZoĂŤ Winters.
QUICK WORD OF WARNING: The film hasnât screened for critics yet and most of the details are being kept tightly under wraps. But, early buzz (possibly promotional) says the film is a brilliant psychological thriller/romance but also provocative, twisty and some contains occasional uncomfortable viewing! I love the cast and trailer, so look forward to seeing for ourselves!
ZENDAYA-PATTINSON TRIFECTA CHALLENGE: Robert Pattinson and Zendaya will star in THREE movies together this year, including THE DRAMA, Christopher Nolanâs THE ODYSSEY this Summer and Denis Villeneuveâs DUNE: PART THREE at Christmas!
TRAILER: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zmKcUa4Xxk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zmKcUa4Xxk)
PLAN: Weâll plan for 7pm-ish showing and will meet in the lobby area about 30 minutes before showtime! Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater but early arrival is advised. Possibly post-movie get-together at the nearby Rusty Bucket! Complete details will be confirmed/announced as the date gets closer.
Take care and look forward to seeing you there, Dan
