That could mean fixing a leaking sleeping pad, patching up a packraft, reinforcing your backpack, sewing extra pockets, or maintaining your gear so it lasts longer. It can also be more creative: sketching in a travel journal, carving, sculpting, or working on portable crafts you enjoy bringing into nature.
