Since we're looking for **brand innovation** and **out-of-the-box thinking**, I wanted to start off with the Washington DC MLK Library Makerspace, known as The Labs. A makerspace, is a unique place for crafts, high tech manufacturing including 3-D Printers, textile machinery and more. It's a great place for entrepreneurs to use the technology and/or have a business. It's also a great place for people who are tinkerers. This event is a chance to take a **tour of The Labs.** The **tour limit is 15** people, and so, if you're interested, please sign up. I have worked with the Labs just to confirm our tour. _Games this month:_ Dominion, Everdell: Silverfrost, Heat, and more! **A note from the organizers:** We see that this is becoming a popular event and so there's not a ton of space available for general non Patreon members rsvp'ing via meetup. These games will include titles with rulesets that are a bit more complex, take a bit more time, and are often strategic and competitive. DCGG will curate the games and provide trained game hosts to help get games going quickly and make sure all players are supported as they learn and engage with the games. The month's games will be in the title of this event. **Who this event is for:** Self-declared board game enthusiasts and/or people people looking to get into the hobby of tabletop games. While our game hosts will be there to help explain the game and rules, this event is targeted at players who are comfortable learning lots of rules and dedicating a few hours to a single game. This game is located at the DC/Maryland Border in Silver Spring. We'll use the Tennis Courts across Juniper-Blair Park where there are Night Lights shining on an enclosed arena. This area is enjoyable because it allows for more touches on the ball, with more movement around the field. THIS IS ON A TENNIS COURT. WE DO NOT WEAR CLEATS. WE WEAR FUTSAL SHOES, TENNIS SHOES; ANYTHING WITH NO SPIKES. Pinnies and goals will be provided. Bring a ball if you have one. We usually get 10+ more players not on meetup — we'll add those to whatever we get here and see if we can have a game. More than competitive, we all want to play good futsal and make it fun and entertaining for all. No warm sided matches here — new and advanced players are welcomed. You see, the ideal number of players for a pickup soccer game is perhaps 6x6 - 8x8; some players won't attend if they think the turnout will be low, and others will just assume the game will be cancelled even though we always play. (As a practical matter, smaller games are less fun since the comics won't have the audience they need, but, they do have two hidden benefits: shorter, more intense games/workouts and fewer face kicks/yellow cards. So we play no matter how small or large.) So non-RSVPers are a little short sighted, since they don't seem to want to maximize their own enjoyment in the long run. One potential downside is that you have to order your food and drinks downstairs. To see what others think, we are going to host another meetup at this location. Competitive Wallyball Monday Event is for players that know or learn how to play Wallyball positions. Have strong skills in pass, set, spike. No shows will be tracked and players will be removed. \*New Players if you are an A/BB volleyball player you should come out and try it on a Thur but if we have room Host Decision just DM them \*New Players BB/B should come out on a Tues or Thurs to have fun learning the walls and improving skills.

Ruggers! Break out your swimsuits and join the coolest Special Olympics supporters in Northern Virginia. West Potomac RFC is once again coming together to support the Special Olympics Virginia athletes in making their Olympic dreams come true. We'll use my (Woj's) house as a staging ground for changing, bag storage, and general pre-gaming. Then, we'll walk down the street to take the plunge, toss a ball around, and hand out business cards to any potential new recruits.
