Curatorial Tour â Instinct#20
**Curatorial Tour â Instinct#20**
for **LGBTQIA+**
Free event
##### Group exhibition
During this **curatorial tour**, we will guide you through artworks that engage with conflict as a generative force and explore âRadical Empathyâ as an active, transformative practice. Together, we will consider how empathy can be learned, challenged, and reimagined through queer artistic perspectives.
The tour will examine how artists create spaces that embrace difference, resist dominant narratives, and invite us to remain open to discomfort, connection, and change. Moving beyond passive understanding, these works propose empathy as a relational encounterâone that has the potential to reshape how we live with and through conflict.

**WHY GO?**
The Briesetal is one of Brandenburgs most scenic valleys, formed by river Briese. The quiet nature preservation area is home to mischievous beavers whose dams created a sunken birch forest. The valley is still dominated by unspoilt nature, seemingly untouched by humans. It's only a 40 minute train ride north of Berlin, making it the perfect day trip getaway from the city's hustling.
Following the meandering river we traverse the mystical forest, walk on wooden planks through moors and marshes and explore natural habitats and endemic wildlife. On this hike, immerse yourself into natureâs wonder! Have you ever observed the tiny details of the outdoors? Such as the intricate veins on the back of a leaf? Or the delicate edges of flowersâ petals? Or the movement of a cheeky squirrel?
On this walk, you will have the chance to truly connect with the natural world around you.

Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads.
Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead.
Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun.
Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards.
Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery.
Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.

How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
Itâs time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind.
Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Here is the secret of being positive and free:
Thinking positively is not enough.
You also have to get rid of the negative thinking.
Your mind is like a garden.
You can plant many beautiful flowers in it, but if you don't get rid of the weeds when you plant your flowers, the weeds will soon take over the whole garden.
A positive thought is like a flower in your mental garden, and a negative thought is like a weed.
You cannot expect to have a positive mindset if you continue to have negative thoughts dwelling and growing there.
So, how do you get rid of the negative thoughts? That's what this Meetup is all about. Attend this local meeting and find out!
The Meetup event will be led by a consultant who had helped many people live happier in life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
