Connected: A Phone-Free Evening in Austin
Connected: A Phone-Free Evening in Austin
Join us for a phone-free evening of creativity, conversation, and real connection. We’ll bring some pens, paint, pots, and a mix of random art supplies. No art skills needed, no pressure to make anything “good” or to make anything at all. Just a chance to put your phone away, and not miss it. We will also have very simple game supplies, a deck of cards, pencils and papers. Again, no pressure to participate in any of those. We’ll have phone pouches available so you can step away from screens for the evening. Expect local sparkling water, relaxed creativity, good energy, and conversation without digital distractions. We’re two friends in Austin creating space to step away from screens and rediscover the power of presence. This is part of Gen C (Generation Connect) a small movement toward more genuine human connection. Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 PM Central Market North Lamar patio
Let’s See a Show: Music on Main!
Let’s See a Show: Music on Main!
Hey everyone! Let’s go to Downtown Round Rock and see a FREE show! This is part of the city’s concert series where there are free shows every Wednesday until the end of June. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair so that you have a place to sit during the show. Feel free to bring snacks to share or you can get popcorn sold at the park or pizza and beer next door. Music starts at 7, but you may want to arrive early to grab a good spot. See ya there!
Wells Branch Trail
Wells Branch Trail
Let's hike Wells Branch Trail and walk for 1.5 hours for a total of 4.3 miles. This greenbelt trail is a well-maintained, mostly flat gravel path -- no hiking boots required, but do use your best judgment. Along the way, we’ll pass through several underground tunnels and cross a couple of streets without dedicated pedestrian lights, so we’ll pause to regroup and cross safely together. The trail is mostly shaded and passes through several parks, some with path lighting. Please bring at least 2 liters of water. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the trail! Here is some more info located below: https://wellsbranchmud.com/parks-a-recreation/trails-1 http://www.texashiking.com/Locations/ShowLocation.aspx?LocationID=1812 If you need to contact me, my phone number is 281-876-7746. We’ll meet at the Lake of Wells Branch sign on Mallard Green Ln -- there’s plenty of street parking available at that spot. If your GPS routes you to Mills Pond park entrance instead, there’s a small parking lot there with limited spaces. It’s just a short walk from the Lake of Wells Branch meeting point, so feel free to park there if that’s more convenient. Please note that this is event also posted on **[I love Austin, but I need some f*****g friends!](https://www.meetup.com/i-love-austin-but-i-need-some-f-g-friends/)** NOTE: In the event of bad weather, I will issue a cancellation notice at least one hour prior to the event's start time. Please note meetup has had a massive increase in price and has nearly doubled the fee to organize clubs. If you like the club and want to donate, you can pay Kevin by Venmo [here](https://venmo.com/u/Kevin-Coe-9). Finally, we recommend that you review information on the trail and that you come prepared for the hike (e.g., bring at least two liters of water, wear appropriate footwear such as hiking boots, and a brimmed hat.) All attendees are solely responsible for their own health and safety. By RSVPing for this event, you are agreeing that you are taking sole responsibility for your own health and safety and, if any, your guests' health and safety. If you or your guests are not willing or are unable to take responsibility for your own health and safety, do not RSVP for this event.

He has been providing professional and business advice to clients, colleagues, family and friends for 20 years. From 2021 - 2025, he worked for a small non-profit where I provided career and job seeking advice to individuals in online and in-person group sessions. **What others have to say** *Working with Cameron as a colleague is a pleasure. Cameron has the heart of a teacher and is able to explain concepts in a clear, concise, and understandable way. I would highly recommend working with Cameron in any personal or professional setting.* -David G. *I've known Cameron since 2005. In that time, I have witnessed him grow from being waitlisted after applying to Best Buy's Geek Squad, to now managing technical teams and coordinating collaboration across departments in large, reputable businesses. Given a goal, he can reverse engineer practical, actionable steps to achieve it. He always survives the inevitable layoff waves, and I don't think that is a coincidence. It's because his coworkers rely on him, and I suspect he could coach others to become indispensable in their craft as well.* -Dominique G. *Working with Cameron helped me gain clarity and momentum in my career. He brings clarity, strategic insight, and genuine encouragement that helped me better articulate my goals and take confident next steps. His coaching style is thoughtful, practical, and empowering, making a real impact beyond just short-term wins. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking meaningful career growth.* -Kossie G. *Cameron consistently demonstrates an exceptional ability to provide comprehensive, well-reasoned, and logically sound advice. His guidance is meticulously crafted, considering all relevant facts, presenting balanced perspectives, and anticipating potential outcomes. Cameron communicates insights clearly and straightforward, simplifying complex issues and making them easier to understand and address. Consequently, his advice is not only thoughtful but also practical and highly effective from various perspectives. It enhances comprehension and reasoning of particular scenarios, and supports informed decision-making in situations.* -Chris R.

Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. We look forward to having you join us! This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
