**Was du mitbringen solltest:** * Kamera + Objektiv für Tageslicht/Indoor Fotografie * ggf. Hausschuhe * Kamera mit Highspeed Serienfunktion * lichtstarkes Objektiv von Vorteil Fotos: Via monalaura + The Studio e.V.
Solo travellers: casual hangout in Berlin (4pm)
Solo travellers: casual hangout in Berlin (4pm)
**No pressure, no plan—just new friends** ✨ Whether you’re visiting Berlin for the first time, recently relocated, or simply love connecting with curious people, this weekly meetup is the perfect way to share stories, make friends, and go explore, as a group, the magic that Berlin has to offer 🇩🇪 **What to expect?** • **Casual & hostless**: no formal host, no schedule: just show up, be yourself, meet fellow solo travellers & expats and decide as a group where you feel like going • **Central meeting point**: it is surrounded by cultural landmarks, cafes, and restaurants, making it a convenient and safe starting point. • **Open to everyone**: whether you are a local, an expat or just passing through for a few days, you are welcome to join. (English is the primary language, but feel free to switch of course) **How to talk with strangers?** (and create meaningful connections) To help you get started, I curated a little game of **[ridiculously good questions](https://www.pierrebonvalot.com/theblog?p=285a9711d7df80d5ac25dd4ef8fe5394&pm=c)** you can ask to break the ice, shift the conversation from dull to intriguing and fun, and eventually create meaningful connection quickly. I hope this helps! **The only things you need to do are…** • Leave a message in the comment section to let the others know that you will actually be there (I don’t want you to end up alone there :) • If you can’t make it anymore, no problem! But please update your RSVP to let the others know • Please be gentle and patient with each other. We all want to make good friends here. **Why join?** • Meet open-minded travellers and locals who are keen to connect, learn and have fun together. • Experience Berlin... as a group. • Be part of a global community that celebrates solo travelling and meaningful connections between foreign and locals. **How does it works?** 1\. Arrive at the meeting spot at the scheduled time\. 2\. Look for other joiners—friendly faces and curious explorers\. 3\. Introduce yourself\, connect with others\, and decide as a group where to go\. **When & where?** • Day: every Sunday • Time: 4:00 PM (meetup sometimes displays a different time zone: but it’s always 4pm local time) • Location: in front of the Indischer Brunnen **Hostless**: I am setting up the event for you all to meet, but I won't be there myself this time :) **Hi my names is Pierre** I created this Meetup group because I want to see more human connection happen in the real world. I feel many of us want this, but don't exactly know how to go about it. I hope this helps a little bit. I also work as a transformational coach: I help people who feel stuck in their life to reconnect with themselves, create real change and ultimately live more fulfilling lives. 🔗 bento.me/pierrebonvalot
Afternoon Walk + Coffee in Berlin: Charlottenburg/Mitte 🌳👣🚶🚶‍♀️❄️🥐☕🍪
Afternoon Walk + Coffee in Berlin: Charlottenburg/Mitte 🌳👣🚶🚶‍♀️❄️🥐☕🍪
1 EURO DONATION FEE PER PERSON IS REQUIRED (on site, in cash), to pay back the Meetup subscription fees and support my Events. READ THE DESCRIPTION WITH THE INFO (IMPORTANT). We take a walk in Berlin to meet new people or people we already know 😁 It's a way to spend a few hours together on a Sunday afternoon. **How it works?** The concept is very simple: * We meet at Charlottenburg Station at 14,00 o'clock (we use the Whatsapp Chat provided below to find each other: I will post there my exact location outside the station) * I wait for people for 10 minutes, till 14,10, then we start to walk, direction Zoologischer Garten, crossing the entire park 🌳🌳🌳, to then go further beyond Brandenburger Tor * The total length of the walk is about 8kms or a bit more * We land finally in the Alexander Platz area, where we can take a coffee, a cake or some other food/drink 🍰, and spend more time together (probably here, since they have space: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jYgpKrfs6adFh9gK8) I consider that the event will last in overall around 4 hours (2 hours of walk and 2 hours at the Cafe), but people are free to stay together longer, if they want 🙂 What I provide is leading the walk and the people at the Cafe, but I do not force anyone to stay shorter or longer. I do not provide a "personal support" for people who arrive after 14,10 (do not write to me expecting "private support"). You are responsible to check for the weather and decide if come or not. Thanks for understanding. If you have to contact me, make it via Whatsapp, not here on Meetup. WHATSAPP COMMUNITY/GROUP 💬 to find each other (join it, we use this group to find and synchronize us) Join both the Announcements and the "Admin + Members" Groups) 💬💬 [https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/](https://docs.google.com/document/d/157uLVXObKt1a4NqqvPa09NJW-050YBwHLW-7DbOD8R8/)

We‘ll meet between 13:00 and 13:15 in the entrance hall of S-Bahnhof Treptower Park (Exit towards Elsenstrasse/Puschkinallee) and then walk together to the nearby bus stop (bus 265/165). If you don‘t make it on time or come later you may join below WhatsApp group where I will post my live location: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IIB9PMpffKp49bZVNfxaKQ **Everyone is welcome**, also non-skaters who’d just like to enjoy an afternoon walking on ice which might make one feel as if being a bit outside of the city, in case it would be snowing even sort of as if being in a winter wonderland ☺️. Experience Berlin’s underground nightlife like a true rebel. This alternative pub crawl takes you beyond the typical tourist circuit and into the beating heart of the city’s subcultures — punk, goth, squatters, techno heads, and creative misfits. In intimate groups, we explore lesser-known venues across Prenzlauer Berg, Neukölln, Kreuzberg, and more. Leave behind the commercial party strip and join the alternative crawl. On this 5-hour nighttime adventure, you’ll discover Berlin’s rebellious spirit through its grungiest, weirdest, and most unforgettable nightlife spots. Our route changes nightly but could include: • Ping pong matches with locals in hidden bars • A secret rock or metal bar with horror-movie décor • Absinthe lounges, beach bars, techno bunkers, or surreal basements • Squatter spaces turned legal venues and hidden alley speakeasies Your guide — a true Berlin nightlife insider — will take you to places most tourists never hear about. You’ll also uncover the stories behind these venues: how post-wall Berlin became a global nightlife capital, how music scenes shaped entire neighborhoods, and how many of these bars still operate just under the radar. Whether you’re into indie rock, dark-wave, hip hop, punk, or Berlin-style techno, this crawl adapts to the vibe of the night. Nothing cookie-cutter. No two nights are the same. Please bring valid ID and a public transport ticket (Zone AB).

Drunken Philosophy: Is Life a Dream?
Drunken Philosophy: Is Life a Dream?
Welcome to Drunken Philosophy, a casual, curious, social discussion club. Optional topic for this meet up: Is life a dream? Dreams feel real while they last. Could life work the same way? How do we know we’re awake, and what follows if we can’t be sure? Let’s kick that around over a around of drinks: • What makes something feel real: continuity, shared evidence, or meaning? • How would you tell you’re awake (reality checks, memory, other people)? • If life is dreamlike, what becomes of free will and responsibility? • Is identity a story we keep telling—who’s the narrator? • Are we author, actor, or audience in our dreams and how would you tell? • Does art/film reveal reality or replace it? No lectures. Friendly crowd. Drop in for one drink and stay if it’s fun.
