Women’s IWD Run – 5K Lake Zurich (All Paces Welcome)
In honour of International Women’s Day, let’s come together and run.
Our women’s running group is about more than running, it’s a space to move, breathe, connect, and support one another. Whether you’re a regular runner or just starting out, everyone is welcome.
On this run, we also run for the women who cannot: those who do not feel safe moving freely in their streets, and those whose lives have been cut short by violence. Every step is a reminder that women deserve to move through the world safely and without fear.
While International Women’s Day is on the 8th, we’re continuing the celebrations by running together on Tuesday 10th March. We will meet at Enge at 6:30pm outside Samigo and run 5km together along lake Zurich.
Grab a friend or come alone — and leave with new friends. Let’s run together!

Kon-Tiki Comedy Tuesday
**Kon-Tiki Comedy Tuesday!**
Zurich's longest standing weekly Comedy Night : English Standup at Kon-Tiki Bar since 2018!
**Tickets :** [https://shorturl.at/fgjmM](https://shorturl.at/fgjmM)
Kon-Tiki Comedy has long become a staple of Tuesday Nights in Zurich! Veterans, regulars, amateurs & newbies from all around the world show up to make people laugh. This Comedy Open Mic is regularly Hosted by Ahmet Bilge.
Kon-Tiki Comedy is the place for English Standup in central Zurich. Come join & laugh with us!
**Early Show starts at 19:30 pm**
**Frequently Asked Questions:**
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
**Q: Is the show in English?**
A: YES. Kon-Tiki Comedy is always in English.
**Q: What's the difference of a Comedy Open Mic from a regular Comedy Show?**
A: Anybody who wants can go on stage at a Comedy Open Mic. A bunch of Comedians will be there, but they will be trying out jokes, because this is how Comedians find out if something is funny or not, so you get to be there at the birthplace of jokes. Often Comedy Open Mics are more casual & but also funny as well!
**Q: Can I perform Comedy also?**
A: Yes of course! Just contact theamericanstandupshow@gmail.com if you're interested in performing. Or directly go to the event page on facebook & write "SPOT" inside the event discussion. You'll be confirmed later & will get 5minutes to start off with. Anybody can sign up!
**Q: What about these seats?**
A : We have enough seats for everyone but the first come first served rule applies! Especially since Kon-Tiki Comedy is popular, often it is packed inside, so come early for good seats. What's early? Anything before 19:00 & you will have your seat of choice.
**Q : What about the late show?**
Depending on the turnout a late show is also available most of the time, please check the ticket page to see if there is a late show option. Basically if you can buy tickets to the late show, it's happening, if it's not an option for a ticket it's not! Both shows might be consolidated into one if there's not enough ticket sold for the late show. In this case you will recieve an e-mail telling you so.
**Q : Can I refund my ticket?**
There are no refunds allowed because it becomes too much work for a simple Comedy Open Mic, so only buy your ticket if you know you're for sure going to be able to make it. But if for some reason you can't make it, you are welcome to use your ticket for any future Kon-Tiki Comedy Shows. Just write an e-mail to exchange.
**Q : Can I buy tickets at the door?**
No please don't. Technically we can but it complicates everything, so just buy them online. Just to persuade you NOT to ask to buy at the door: Tickets at the door are 15.-CHF. Please buy online : )
**Q: Will it be funny?**
A : You betcha. You can't do a regular show since 2018 & not be funny.
**Any other questions:**
Email: theamericanstandupshow@gmail.com with the title "Kon-Tiki Comedy"
But if it's any of the questions covered by the FAQ above, I will still answer it, *but first I will insult you.*
**Legal Disclaimer:** Comedians may film their sets as well as the audience during the comedy show. By buying a ticket you consent to being filmed in this public space. If you ever have a problem with any clip published online you are very welcome to contact us & ask to have it removed, we are happy to accomodate you. Thank you for your understanding.

Nature-Based 1:1 Coaching for Women
**Are you a woman who feels there is “more” — but no space to think clearly?**
Between family, work, expectations and your own inner dialogue, it’s easy to lose connection with yourself.
This is a one-on-one outdoor coaching experience designed especially for mothers and women who want clarity, strength and calm.
We meet outside — walking side by side in nature.
No pressure. No performance. Just real conversation.
Nature helps us slow down, breathe deeper and access honest thoughts more easily than sitting across a table.
**What this coaching can support you with:**
* Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stretched
* Identity shifts after motherhood
* Decision-making and next steps
* Rebuilding confidence
* Creating space for yourself without guilt
* Transition phases (career, relationships, personal growth)
Each session is individual and fully tailored to you.
**First Step: Intro Call**
Before the session, we schedule a short **free online intro call (20–30 minutes).**
This gives us both the chance to:
* Get to know each other
* Clarify your topic or intention
* See if we feel comfortable working together
Coaching is personal — trust and connection matter.
**About Me**
My name is Anna Hirschvogl, and I work with women navigating identity, motherhood, and personal growth.
As an educator and coach, I focus on helping women move through life transitions with clarity rather than self-criticism.
Through my own experiences of relocation, career shifts, pregnancy, and identity change, I understand how deeply motherhood reshapes who we are.
I create grounded, reflective spaces where women can think clearly, feel honestly, and grow intentionally.

Pause in Motion
Join us, once a month, on a Wednesday afternoon for an easy-paced walk by the lake — a midweek pause to breathe, move, and connect.
We’ll meet in front of the Opera House and take a walk along the lake, letting conversation flow as naturally as the path.
These walks are about more than slowing down — they’re a way to clear the noise and make space for new perspectives. Sometimes it’s in motion that the mind finds its calm and ideas come into focus. A simple hour to refresh, connect, and perhaps see something familiar in a new light.
Kaffee & Kuchen Network

Habt ihr Lust mehr über unsere Arbeit und unseren Mut zu erfahren? Wir laden euch gern auf ein Stück Kuchen ein und erzählen euch mehr! Schaut gern vorbei.
Bitte meldet Euch unter der Nummer: 0762256026

Bad Girls Book Club March 2026
**Our March pick is *God of the Woods* by Liz Moore.**
**This month’s novel is an award-winning literary mystery that blends family drama with psychological suspense. It explores women’s voices and relationships while delivering an exciting, eerie, and deeply suspenseful story. The book is 576 pages in print or 14 hours and 35 minutes on audiobook.**
Early morning, August 1975: a camp counselor discovers an empty bunk. Its occupant, Barbara Van Laar, has gone missing. Barbara isn’t just any thirteen-year-old: she’s the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the region’s residents. And this isn’t the first time a Van Laar child has disappeared. Barbara’s older brother similarly vanished fourteen years ago, never to be found.
As a panicked search begins, a thrilling drama unfolds. Chasing down the layered secrets of the Van Laar family and the blue-collar community working in its shadow, Moore’s multi-threaded story invites readers into a rich and gripping dynasty of secrets and second chances. It is Liz Moore’s most ambitious and wide-reaching novel yet.
