All current information is published in our WhatsApp group❗️** **🏔️ Rax Panorama Hike** 📅 Date: June 28 🕒 Time: ~08:00–18:00 📍 Meeting point: exact details will be shared in the WA group **What makes this trip special:** — one of the most beautiful panoramic plateaus near Vienna — breathtaking mountain views — scenic cable car ride to 1540 m — alpine landscapes, mountain huts, and endless photo opportunities — a perfect day in nature without a difficult summit ascent **About the hike:** This is a circular route. The hike is considered moderate, but still suitable for most active people. Along the way, we’ll visit two summit crosses with stunning panoramic views. 📏 Distance: ~11 km ⛰ Elevation gain: ~430 m ⏱ Walking time: ~4 hours (plus breaks, photos & lunch) ⚠️ **Expect:** – uneven and rocky terrain – some steeper sections – mountain weather conditions 👉 You don’t need mountaineering experience, but you should: – be comfortable walking for several hours – have a basic fitness level – not be afraid of heights 🥾 Hiking shoes or shoes with a good grip are strongly recommended 💶 **Participation fee:** 30 € (including train & bus tickets) 🚠 **Additional costs:** Rax cable car ticket is purchased separately. You can join from Budapest, Vienna or from the start of the route. Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the moment and experience life more fully. It makes life richer, brighter, and filled with simple pleasures. In everyday life, we constantly switch between our phones, work, and thoughts about the future. On this hike, we'll try spending the day differently: without phones, without rushing, and without unnecessary noise. We'll pay more attention to the nature around us, our own feelings, and simply give our minds a chance to rest. There will be mindfulness exercises, periods of silence, time for reflection, and, for those who wish, meditation. Phones stay in our backpacks and won't come out until the end of the hike.
