It's no secret that the coast is also **a favorite seal place** that you can often find there. People living here regardless of whether they represent the tribe of Bushmen Damara, Herero, Bantu, Hottentots or Himba adhere to the principle that the cheapest and easiest way to improve their image is to smile. You'll also find out how much truth is said that we **Europeans have watches and Africans have time.** What awaits you here are unforgettable joint **evenings with the greatest sunsets**, campfires under a canopy of stars, camps set up in the middle of the wildest corners of the world and the company of animals known so far mainly from National Geographic programs. We will experience the rhythm of communing with wildlife and experience the diversity of nature, meet unknown cultures and tribes. Now you can get on the road with us and set off to the wilderness of some of the most remote places on African continent. **Namibia is a real DESERT QUEEN**, ruling its kingdom with the wind that carves the dunes, shapes beaches, rocky peaks and river banks. **Let's go!!** **Day 1: Windhoek** Arrival in Windhoek, Namibia’s laid-back capital where colonial architecture meets Africa. After a short briefing, transfer into the city. The rest of the day at leisure to stretch the legs, grab a drink, or simply relax. **Day 2: Palmwag** We head north into the wild, where landscapes begin to open and the real adventure kicks in. On the way, stop at a traditional Himba village to learn about one of Namibia’s most iconic cultures with red ochre, intricate hairstyles, ancient traditions. Arriving in Palmwag, the scenery turns dramatic: red hills, dry riverbeds, and desert-adapted wildlife territory. In the afternoon, head out on a scenic game drive through one of Namibia’s most untouched concessions. Keep your eyes open for desert elephants, giraffes, or even the elusive black rhino. **Day 3: Swakopmund** Today we follow the raw Atlantic edge of Namibia along the Skeleton Coast, a beautiful stretch of foggy shores, shipwreck stories, and endless horizons. Stop at Cape Cross, home to one of the largest Cape fur seal colonies in the world, their population is about 260 thousand individuals. By afternoon, arrive in Swakopmund, where desert dunes crash into the ocean. Indulge in this gorgeous locality with its beach walks, German inspired cafés, and few adrenaline options. Optional kayaking with seals or skydiving. **Day 4: Namib desert** Leave the coast behind and drive inland toward the legendary Namib — the oldest desert on Earth. On the way, stop at the Kuiseb Canyon viewpoint and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. The landscapes become vast, empty, almost cinematic. Arrive in the desert and settle into the silence. Golden light, endless horizons, and star filled skies above. **Day 5: Sossusvlei & Deadvlei** Early wake up call. We drive deep into Sossusvlei to catch sunrise over the towering dunes. Climb Dune 45 as the sand glows red and gold beneath your feet. Some dunes here rise nearly 400 meters, the highest in the world. Once we are done with picnic breakfast at the feet of the dune, we head for a walk through otherwordly Deadvlei, where the vast expanse of white salt contrasts with the surrounding red dunes and dried tree stumps. **Day 6: Sesriem Canyon - Windhoek** Before leaving the desert, explore Sesriem Canyon, carved over centuries by seasonal floods, a cool and shaded contrast to the dunes. Hit the road back to Windhoek. Upon arrival, enjoy city tour if time allows. Final sunset in Namibia deserving the last toast. **Day 7: Departure** Last souvenir shopping and heart breaking good bye to Namibia! **Activities:** Trekking, desert drives, sightseeing, encounter of wildlife and indigenous tribes, optional kayaking with seals. **Accommodation & meals:** boutique lodges and hotels - double sharing. Not as far from us as Caribbean but equally beautiful, Indonesian Archipelago is an irresistible kaleidoscope of places filled with nature wonders. The count is endless here, so each trip we stand with difficult choices. This trip, dedicated to encounter deadly **Komodo Dragons** at their habitat of Indonesian Archipelago, however our feet and boat will take us much further - to three colored volcanic lakes, flying foxes and tribal villages. The sunrise from peak of Kelimutu (1,639 mtrs) overlooking the caldera of three colored lake is nature wonder on its own, unwritten category. The color candy of lakes waters from blue to cold-steel grey, reflecting the early sun rays is mixed mere fogs and clouds... Once we reach the peak for sunrise we will continue hike behind the volcano for few hours before we come back to the lodge. **Day 3 / Cycling jungles of Kelimutu & tribal village of Moni** Cycling in the nearby villages for half day, after lunch check out and leave to Ende, on the way visiting tribal village of Moni. Overnight in Ende. **Day 4 / Sailing starts!** Labuan Bajo, sailing starts. In the morning flight to Labuan Bajo and finally board a private pirate sailboat that will be our home for the next three nights. The boat has a wonderful top deck for lounging, sunbathing, and offers great views of the island chains. In the morning, we will be passing uncounted islands. We will have lunch on the boat at the port of Rincca Island. In the early afternoon, we will enter the national park on Rinca and get our first views of the Komodo Dragons. We will do a trek through the grasslands, looking for the infamous dragons in their natural habitat. The impressive 10 feet long lizards hunt their prey by biting them once, and waiting for the infection to set in and cause death. After our exploration of the island, we will head by boat to dock for the evening in a bay surrounded by mangroves. **Day 5 / Komodo Island - Chase the Dragon!!!** We will visit the island of Komodo in the morning and take a trek on a jungle trail, chasing the dragons and an endless array of flora and fauna. We will get back on the boat for lunch and sail for an hour to a great afternoon of snorkeling in one of the most diverse underwater ecosystems in the world. The Coral Triangle stretches from Sulawesi to Papua and Flores. It is known for having the highest biodiversity of marine life on earth. We will spend the night in a quiet bay after snorkeling. We will not even think about trying [this....](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZRT5EmcCDQ) Later in the afternoon we will dock into the fisherman village to meet the locals and watch sunset from the top deck between two islands where thousandss of flying foxes (giant bats with doglike heads) arise from the mangroves for night feeding. **Day 6 / Komodo – Labuan Bajo** The boat heads back to Labuan Bajo for couple of hours we ll enjoy the breeze, blue waters and green islands. On the way we will stop by on crystal clear beaches for snorkelling with 2 mtrs mantas and enjoy last day of pirating. **Day 7 / Labuan Bajo – Jakarta** Check out from the boat and connecting flight back to Jakarta. **🏛️ WHAT'S PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ABOUT?** Practical Philosophy is a weekly meet-up that brings critical thinkers together for an opportunity to dive deep on a topic, practice communicating, and building a community. All with no ‘official’ philosophy knowledge required! 😎 Practical Philosophy is based on the idea that philosophy should be accessible to all, and not something reserved only for academics. Each week we choose a topic, and the goal is to use the conversation to develop our critical thinking and communication as we explore that topic. The goal is to help develop our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community 🙌 **📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?** Each week, we pick one topic and discuss it. When groups get bigger than 7-8 people, it’s important that we break into smaller groups. This way we are able to maintain a conversational flow as opposed to having our meetups feel like a discourse or lecture. **General Meeting Agenda** Each Practical Philosophy meet-up follows this general timeline: * 17:00-17:15 - People arrive and chat, get to know each other before the official start. * 17:15-17:25 - Meeting introduction, explanation of Practical Philosophy and the topic for the week, read the guidelines and the overview so attendees know what to expect in terms of timelines. * 17:25-18:45 - Break into small groups - introduce yourselves and general thoughts on the topic, open discussion afterwards. At this point the group can review the ‘jump-off’ questions as needed, but they are just there to help guide the conversation. It’s not obligatory to answer them. * 18:45-19:00 - Bring everyone back together to discuss conclusions of the topic - each group gives a short 1-minute summary. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do.
