The Rovo Grand Prix: Winning the Race for Productivity
Every team has that "Manual Drag" - those repetitive, low-gear loops that keep you stuck in the pits while the competition is flying. It’s time to break the rhythm and find your flow.
Join us for a high-octane session on Atlassian Rovo, the AI power unit built to eliminate the manual grind and get you to the podium.
We’re going to show you how to:
Tune the Frequency (Search): Stop the static. Cut through the noise and find exactly what you need across your entire stack in one smooth motion. No more hunting for the beat.
Riff with the Pit Wall (Chat): Turn fragmented data into instant insights. Don’t just read the spec—ask the engine to remix it, summarize it, and serve it up so you stay in the flow.
Hand Off the Loops (Agents): Put Rovo Agents on the repetitive, manual chores that stall your engine. Let them handle the grind while you focus on the high-speed moves that actually win the race.
The grid is forming. Stop idling in the manual lane and start playing the high-speed tracks.
Are you ready to take the lead?

Hosted By
Michelle Letho, Account Executive & Networking Junkie
Michelle (Miche) Letho is the Melbourne Atlassian Community Event (ACE) Champion and an Account Executive at Willyama Togetha, Australia’s only Indigenous-owned Atlassian Platinum Partner. She helps organisations imagine, build, and scale better ways of working through Atlassian solutions that boost collaboration, visibility, and impact.

Abbas Heidari, Engineer
With an IT career spanning over 30 years, I have always been passionate about bridging the gap between technical architecture and human collaboration. My journey began in 1995 in software engineering, and after completing my Master of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, I transitioned my focus to the Atlassian ecosystem in 2015.
Currently, I serve as the Atlassian SME at Woolworths Group. Working within a high-impact team, I focus on delivering enterprise-grade solution consulting and sustainable governance to support thousands of users across a complex, large-scale environment.
I am particularly dedicated to:
■ Enterprise Solution Consulting
Architecting the Atlassian product lifecycle to meet the intricate, scalable needs of the Woolworths Group.
■ Community Leadership
Since last year, I have led the Atlassian CUG (Company User Group) within Woolworths, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and cross-functional best practices.
■ Product Influence
Active participation in Atlassian’s Early Access Programmes (EAPs), providing direct feedback to help shape the future of the tools we use every day.
■ Governance & Enablement
Establishing frameworks that balance operational efficiency with internal security while empowering teams through specialised training.
I believe the strength of the Atlassian suite lies in the community behind it. I’m always keen to exchange ideas on governance, scalability, and how to build a thriving internal user community.
Bonnie Emmerson, Atlassian Community Champion
Mit Tolia, Atlassian Community Champion
Andy Fleming, Lead DevOps Engineer
G’day everyone, I’m Andy from Melbourne (Australia) and I've been a Community Champion since late 2025.
I’ve been an Atlassian geek since around 2008 when I started using Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Fisheye and Crucible for my startup, and have been in a number of Atlassian Admin and advocacy roles across multiple industries since then.
Primarily a Developer and DevOps guy in office hours, I love tinkering with a new tool or process and working out how it can help teams do what they’re doing better, with more clarity and transparency.
Fair chunk of experience around JSM (and the alternatives) and a passion for DX and DevSecOps type processes. Bringing some order to chaos, helping people with work and processes and generally helping people get stuff done.
My undergrad was focused on AI 30 years too early, but now spending a lot of time there as it all comes full circle, so Rovo is of particular interest.
Looking forward to meeting hopefully lots of you 🍻

How 3 yr projects can be delivered in 3 months - no kidding!
For our March meetup we are excited to host Darryl Wright who will demonstrate how you really can deliver 3 yr projects in 3 months using Value Stream Mapping and Flow Efficiency.
Find out what other organisations are doing to slash the time it takes them to deliver value, and how you can do it too.
This talk explores:
1\. What is Value Stream Mapping \(VSM\)\, and Flow Efficiency ?
2\. What does VSM reveal about how most organisations deliver value today ?
3\. The big lightbulb moment: can 3 yr projects really be delivered in 3 months? \(hint: yes\!\)
4\. Where to from here ? \(and can I use AI to help with all of this ?\)
And then, as we always highly encourage participation to embed what we learnt, we'll give the method a go ourselves with Darryl's expert guidance.
**Meet your Speaker - Darryl Wright, Value Delivery Advisor and Trainer at Organa**

Colour & its Many Benefits
Hosted by the Melbourne Theosophical Society and conducted by the Scottish Medium and Colour Therapist Eleanor Walker, this interactive event will include a talk about the seven Spectrum Colours, and the benefit of Colour Light or Silk Therapy for people and animals.
Knowledge of colour enhances our Spiritual and Human connection; it Unites us with its simplicity. Aboriginal people use the colours of the Earth to create their history through images and dreamtime stories and colour was used in ancient times by the Romans and Egyptians who would use colour capsules to help heal people.
Although Colour Therapy is a stand alone modality it is best used as a complimentary treatment in conjunction with conventional medical practices and is now used in the hospitals and hospices.
Colour affects our mood, our emotions and our bodily faculties. We can drink it, eat it, wear it, decorate with it, include it in Psychic or Mediumship work. Each day of the week has a colour associated with it, numerology includes colour. The benefits are well worth exploring.
Eleanor Walker was born in Airdrie, Scotland. From an early age she was always colouring in and was fascinated with colours. She found she would have what she called “knowings” where she would blurt out information that she could not possibly have known. This upset her Mother as she did not want her to be seen as different.
As the years passed she developed her knowledge of Colour and qualified as a Colour Therapist eventually gaining a Diploma in Colour Therapy.
Eleanor discovered her knowings were in fact coming from Spirit. She developed her Mediumship with the renowned Scottish Spirit Medium Gordon Smith completing his Intuitive Studies course. She has served Spirit around the UK, Germany, Northern Ireland, Finland, the USA, the Netherlands and Australia, facilitating workshops on the benefits of Colour for healing as well as every- day use and teaching students how to include colour with their Mediumship.
Eleanor is the Co-Facilitator of The Scottish Spiritualist Seminar which is held each year at Stirling University. She is a member of the International Spiritualist Federation and has conducted short workshops at their seminars.
She is also the author of two books “No Proof Required, Embracing my life as a Medium” and “Through Darkness to Light , Grief; a Medium’s Viewpoint”.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online

Making Moves: Small-Group Coaching for Women in Product
## Hey Columbus WIP peeps!

**What moves are you making?**
A promotion you’re working toward.
A role change you’re considering.
A bigger leadership opportunity.
A conversation that needs to happen.
A decision that’s been sitting in the back of your mind.
For our Q1 Women in Product Columbus event, we’re creating space to actually work through those moments.
**Making Moves** is an evening of focused, facilitated coaching conversations with experienced mentors from our local product community. This isn’t a panel. It’s not passive networking. It’s small-group dialogue designed to be thoughtful, practical, and worth your time.
Here’s how it will work:
• You’ll choose a topic that reflects what you’re navigating right now
• You’ll join a small coaching circle (5–7 participants)
• Each circle is led by a mentor who has lived experience in that area
• We’ll run two rounds so you can go deeper or explore a second conversation
### Coaching Topics:
• Communicating the Value of Your Work (or Team)
• Career Transitions & What’s Next
• Growing Into Leadership
• Staying Relevant as Technology (and AI) Changes
• Getting Alignment and Decisions from Leadership
Our goal is simple: you leave with clearer thinking, practical perspective, and at least one next step you feel confident about.
Space in each circle will be limited to keep conversations meaningful.
If this sounds like the kind of room you’ve been wanting to be in, we’d love to see you on March 10.

Quarterly Goals Reset for Product Professionals

As we wrap up the quarter, it’s a great time to pause and reflect. What’s on track? What needs adjustment? Where could a small shift create bigger impact?
Join fellow product professionals for a focused, interactive conversation designed to help you recalibrate for the next quarter. We’ll gather at 8:00AM, with discussion starting promptly at 8:15AM.
📍 First Watch - 7227 N High St
Located in: The Shops at Worthington

Start your morning with clarity and connection — we hope to see you there! ☀️
CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems:
* Using running totals
* Performing operations in intervals
* Identifying data gaps and islands
* Performing aggregates without losing detail
Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them. Demonstrations with several examples will solidify how window functions can simplify queries and make them more powerful.
