Sharing Circle ✨
*Open Sharing Circle ✨*
We come together to be present in the moment and to show ourselves as we are. It’s about sharing in a safe and trusting space – thoughts, emotions, goals, opinions – whatever is there. No one has to share, but everyone may.
*What’s it about?*
• Strengthening self-awareness & self-confidence
• Personal growth
• Building deep relationships & trust
• Getting to know people on a real level
• Feeling free and being able to show yourself authentically
*Rules*
• What’s said in the circle stays in the circle 🔒
• Listen respectfully, don’t interrupt (except for clarification)
• A piece/object shows who is speaking
• Phone only for notes, not for distractions (e.g. no Insta-scrolling 😉)
• Take care of your needs (hunger, tiredness, etc.), be as you are – but respect others
• Duration: About 2h, you can leave anytime
_______________
Open Sharing Circle ✨
Worum geht’s?
• Stärkung von Selbstwahrnehmung & Selbstvertrauen
• Persönliches Wachstum
• Aufbau tiefer Beziehungen & Vertrauen

COLD WATER PLUNGE
Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive.
We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards.
The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather.
Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy.
The event is Free.
IMPORTANT:
Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event.
Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.

Humanist Program
Our January program is privileged to have Kristen Tregar as our speaker. Ms. Tregar is the co-author with John de Lancie (the actor who portrayed the character Q on Star Trek next generation) of a radio play depicting the events surrounding the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial. The trial decided the issue of some of the Dover school district board members attempting to insert creationism disguised as "intelligent design" into the 9th grade biology curriculum. She will discuss the trial and the process of writing the play. (Bob Leonhard has seen the play and it is riveting and tense). Ms. Tregar's bio is below:
Kristen Tregar is a dramaturg, director, playwright, and theatre teacher. She earned her Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre from the UC San Diego and UC Irvine joint program. In addition, she has a MS in Forensic Science from City University of New York- John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a MA in Educational Theatre from New York University- Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. In 2013, in collaboration with Irish colleagues, she founded *The Ireland Project*, an intercontinental devised theatre work with high school students in New York and Tallaght, Ireland. Her original short story "Far From Here" was recently published in *Stay Awhile Longer: More Scenes From Temecula Valley*. She has two rescued dogs (Kira and Harry) and she rides, competes, and foxhunts with her horses, Andromache and Baker Street Irregular.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
