### DESCRIPTION A small, **in-person guided therapeutic circle in Barcelona** for people who feel they are at a turning point in their lives and wish to engage in conscious self-development — psychologically, spiritually, and practically. The circle is **Jungian-inspired**, working from lived experience, intuition, and reflection. We explore ideas such as shadow, projection, and individuation — not as theories to study, but as experiences we recognize in our own lives. This is a space to explore and work with fear, shame, confidence, and authenticity. This circle is held from a holistic and socially aware perspective, recognizing that personal processes are **inseparable from cultural, social, and political contexts, and affirming all identities, bodies, and expressions.** This circle is for people who: • feel drawn to depth and self-awareness • resonate with symbolic, intuitive, and mystical ways of understanding life • want to transform inner insight into concrete weekly action • are willing to take responsibility for their choices • believe in meaning, hope, and transformation Mysticism here is **grounded and embodied** — a devotion to life’s mystery without escaping reality. El parque del Turó de la Peira es un lugar para pasear a través de los amplios caminos que lo recorren en un itinerario que tiene como objetivo principal llegar a la cima, situada a unos 140 metros de altitud, donde se encuentra el mirador. **¡NUEVA RUTA INÉDITA!** Detrás de **Montjuïc** existe una parte de la ciudad que **no suele ser muy conocida** y que ha quedado al margen del turismo y los grandes eventos. **Barrios populares** construïdos durante los años 50 y 60 han ido poblando la zona de la montaña **menos turística** **y más escondida.** Se trata de un **Montjuïc diferente**, lleno de contrastes y **rincones** que te sorprenderán. Pasaremos por los **túneles** y antiguas canteras de la Foixarda, conoceremos el antiguo **polvorín militar** que da nombre al barrio actual y nos adentraremos en las calles tranquilas de **casas bajas** del curioso **barrio de Plus Ultra.** Hablaremos del barraquismo, de cómo cambió la montaña, y como se **rehabilitó el barrio del Polvorín** hasta la actualidad. Como siempre, nuestras rutas están guiadas por un profesional **licenciado en Historia por la UB** y buen conocedor de la ciudad. Este es nuestro **PLAN:** 1\. Encuentro en la Plaça Espanya\, al lado de la Torre Veneciana izquierda e iniciamos ruta\. 2\. Subida por el Poble Espanyol hasta los túneles y canteras de la **Foixarda.** 3\. Bajada por el **barrio del Polvorín** y antiguas edificaciones militares. 4\. Paseo por el curioso barrio de **casitas bajas de Plus Ultra.** Conoceremos el porqué de su nombre. 5\. **History** [Blacklick Woods Metro Park](https://www.metroparks.net/parks-and-trails/blacklick-woods/), established in 1949, holds the distinction of being the first Columbus Metro Park. Its creation stemmed from a post-World War II push to preserve natural areas amid rapid suburban growth. Blacklick Woods is a very nice park, but it is generally flat and not strenuous, so this will be one of the easier hikes that we do. **Where We'll Meet** Drive all the way to the back of the park to the parking lot that is nearest the Nature Center. There are restrooms here next to the Canopy Walk. We'll meet near these restrooms. Speaking of the [Canopy Walk](https://www.metroparks.net/blog/canopy-walk-is-your-gateway-to-the-sky/), it's not officially part of the event this time. If you can't make the hike, we should be there by noon. **How to find our starting point in Big Meadows:** If you are new to Highbanks, the Big Meadows picnic area is 1.5 miles into the park just after you turn into the park off of U.S. Route 23. That is, after you enter the park, drive a mile and a half into the park. You will come to a crosswalk with a yield sign in the middle of it (this is not to be confused with the first such crosswalk you come to just in front of the Nature Center, which you arrive at maybe a quarter of a mile into the park). Just after this second crosswalk, make a left. Then make another almost immediate left into the parking lot on your left. There you will see the jungle gym and the kiddie zip line to your left. I will be just in front of the restrooms just a bit further down from the jungle gym and picnic shelter; the restroom building will also be on your left.
