A 14x runners team covers a total distance of 114.77 km and an altitude difference of 2,640 m in the greater Zurich area. Then runners 2 to 7 head out into Engstringen, up and along the Uetliberg and back into town, finishing at the beautiful University Irchel. The afternoon runners 8-12 start at 12:30 . The trail heads through Forch to Egg and comes back to Witikon. Two short runs from there to the finish at Irchel complete the race. We meet at tents across the lake from the finish. Handover is done by a handshake to the next runners so **it's important to turn up early**. Runners 1, 8 and 13 start sharp at 7:30, 12:30 and 16:45 respectively. Community Backyards Workshop .Community Backyards Workshop - Westerville Join us for the Westerville Community Backyards workshop! This is a FREE class on how you can protect our waterways and environment with small changes in your gardening habits. We will discuss rain barrels, rain gardens, composting, and native plants. This workshop is presented by Friends of Alum Creek. By attending, any participating community resident can receive a voucher for a rain barrel, compost bin, or native plants for attending. Art in the Park: DIY Garden Mosaic Stepping Stone Saturday, May 30, 2026 In this fun hands-on workshop, let your creativity flow as you design and craft your own mosaic stepping stone, perfect for adding a personal touch to your outdoor space! You will use concrete, colorful tiles, and your imagination to create a unique piece of garden art. No experience needed! We will provide the concrete, molds, tiles, and some inspiration patterns. If you have any ceramic pieces, glass, or stones of your own that you would like to add to your mosaic, feel free to bring them, but we will also have plenty on hand.
