### **🌿 Watercolour Herbarium: A Sensory Workshop** Do you know which herbs boost memory? Which ones calm your body, support digestion, or help you sleep? Join us for a unique 4-day watercolour journey where art meets nature, observation, and everyday wisdom. **In this workshop, we will create our own illustrated herbarium — a personal catalogue of plants — while working directly from real, fresh herbs from my little balcony garden.** You’ll learn how to observe their shapes, textures, and colours, and translate them into delicate watercolour studies. But this is more than painting. Hello peeps, welcome to the private meetup for board games in Berlin. Look forward to a relaxed boardgames event in a community centre. We will be playing inside the community centre. If you are looking for a group or games, just join us in the front. The entrance fee is 3 euros for the rent of the community centre rooms and cleanup of the rooms. We look to play in the Nachbarschaftszentrum „Bürger für Bürger“ near Bernauer Strasse U-Bahnhof. We usually play all types of games for example social deduction, casual, euro games, and strategy games. If you are new, is no worries, I will help you connect to a group. We start games every 15 mins so do not worry if you are late. We mostly play in the English language as it is the language most people are comfortable with. We usually bring games with us but you are welcome to bring your own. Ok everybody, it's 2026, and after taking a break for the holidays, games are starting up again as usual. We'll meet, have a beer, and play a round of cards against humanity. Laughs will be had, groans will be groaned, beer will go down the hatch. This event is public, and prior experience with the game is not required. You are not required to drink alcohol, but please note that we are crashing a bar (cash only), so a beverage purchase or two is appropriate and necessary for us to maintain their goodwill. We'll start off the session with a run in Gleisdreieck park that might include scaling some walls, visiting a few sites in the area to explore their opportunities for climbing and balancing, or going up or down stairs in unusual ways. After the outdoors bit, we come back to our gym where we focus on building strength, working as a group, and learning basic martial arts techniques. We are a small, accessible, mixed-gender, queer-friendly group open to anyone, without any prior knowledge or specific degree of fitness required. Our martial art is Jutaijutsu, a traditional Japanese one focused on self-defence. Sounds interesting? We'd love for you to drop by and join us. You'll need running shoes and comfortable workout clothes, including a raincoat or the like for the park if the weather is bad. Once indoors, we train barefoot. Our workshops are typically 1 to 1 and a half hours long and held in-person. Our workshops cover the same content as the online course, but they are more detailed and allow the chance to ask questions and have discussions with the presenters and other residents. We occassionally have "advanced topics" classes where you dive deeper into one topic of Community Backyards such as invasive vs. native plants or rain gardens.** **Registration is encouraged but not required.** You can register in advance to receive your voucher at the workshop. If you don't register in advance, that's okay - you can still show up (unless otherwise noted - which is very rare) and sign up for a voucher at the class, and we will send you one via email or mail within a few business days after the workshop. **"Do I have to be a resident of that community to attend that workshop?"** Nope! Our workshops are open to everyone (unless otherwise noted - which is extremely rare). You can attend a workshop that best suits your schedule even if it is in a different community than your own. **"Why is registration closed?** Can I just show up?" Yes, you can show up without registering! We close registration typically 1-2 days before the workshop to give the vouchers and materials to the presenters. However, you are always welcome to just show up and fill out a short form to request a voucher at the workshop. Art in the Park: DIY Garden Mosaic Stepping Stone Saturday, May 30, 2026 In this fun hands-on workshop, let your creativity flow as you design and craft your own mosaic stepping stone, perfect for adding a personal touch to your outdoor space! You will use concrete, colorful tiles, and your imagination to create a unique piece of garden art. No experience needed! We will provide the concrete, molds, tiles, and some inspiration patterns. If you have any ceramic pieces, glass, or stones of your own that you would like to add to your mosaic, feel free to bring them, but we will also have plenty on hand.
