Auf diesem Dancefloor wird nur Rueda de Casino getanzt. Dies mit Animation durch Cantante mit aktuellen Salsas. Das Niveau wird angepasst an die Salseras und Salseros und die Figuren werden bei Bedarf erklärt und präzisiert. Lady -Tipps und Vertiefung der spanischen Begriffe gibts kostenlos dazu.

Zwischen Palmen, Farnen und Sukkulenten reizen Strukturen, Muster und Licht. Die drei Schauhäuser, man könnte auch meinen, es wären „Ufos im Garten“ gelandet, bieten klare Geometrien und spannende Perspektiven. Wer möchte, zeichnet in den Gewächshäusern. Wer sich traut kann bei gutem Wetter und mit warmer Kleidung auch den Aussenbereich erkunden. **Treffpunkt**: Vor dem Eingang zu den Gewächshäusern. Von dort verteilen wir uns in die drei Schauhäuser oder in den Park. Bitte bringt euer eigenes Zeichenmaterial und idealerweise einen kleinen Klapphocker mit. Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Wir skizzieren rund 2 Stunden, allein oder in kleinen Gruppen – ganz entspannt. Danach treffen wir uns wieder, zeigen unsere Sketches und machen ein Gruppenfoto. Among palm trees, ferns and succulents, structures, patterns and light catch the eye. The three display houses, which could be mistaken for UFOs that have landed in the garden, offer clear geometries and exciting perspectives. Those who wish to can sketch in the greenhouses. Those who dare can also explore the outdoor area in good weather and with warm clothing. **Meeting point**: In front of the greenhouses entrance. From there we’ll spread out into the three glasshouses or the park. Please bring your own drawing materials and, ideally, a small folding stool. No prior experience required. I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich. The is dedicated to everyone who likes the idea of exercising with the music, dancing and learning a bit of ballet. Find out how to set up the a great posture, learn about body conditioning as well as mind & body connection. Unlike at most general adult ballet classes we will show you how exercise with the precision and focus, getting great results. A great class for those that are just starting with ballet, or those who are conscious about using their body precisely and targeting correct muscle groups in order to achieve greater results. The class is structured as a unique combination of ballet exercises, Pilates, stretching and motivation. Open to all levels. You will need to bring a smile, some water and wear comfortable exercise cloths. The class will be 60 minutes which should be more than enough to get those muscles warmed up and you posturised ready for the next session. This will be an A-to-A run, starting and ending at our house, followed by an Apero thingee... which is French for "pretending to be elegant about drinking". Doggies welcome, try not to scare our cat. Can you, Should you, bring something or other? Sure, why not. **Update #1:** At 5pm or so, **Black Udder** and **Africa** will lead a **coalition of the billing** to a nearby pizza restaurant for dinner. Meanwhile, me & other **guarders of the fort** will remain at the venue to drink beers and maybe order out for pizza or somethings or not or whatevers. Decide on the spot, because my RSVP secretary is still on vacation. **Update #2:** xx-Obsolete => My dear spog **Down-Down Abi** has volunteered to co-hare a simultaneous **HHHorrors** trail. So once again, we mix big folks and little 'uns. Pram friendly! Mommy-friendly! **Where**: At the hare's hutch in Adliswil. See location. **When:** We'll meet at 13:50 pm to start at 14:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk trash, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Join us for a fun introduction to padel or for the mexicano tournament, perfect for absolute beginners, occasional hobby players, or tennis enthusiasts looking to try something new. No previous experience is needed. After the event, we will gather for a social evening and have a drink together, you may bring something that you would like to share with the others. **Location: Padelta, Milandia** The venue has lockers (bring a 2.- coin) and showers available. **Cost:** 40 CHF per person. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
