**UX Salon** is thrilled to welcome you to a special event in collaboration with **[Masters in Design for Responsible AI](https://ai.elisava.net/master/design-responsible-ai/)** hosted at the beautiful auditorium at **[Elisava](https://www.elisava.net).** **Speaker** In this talk by **[Irene Pereyra](https://www.linkedin.com/in/irenepereyra/)**, a heretic’s stance is taken on the sacred mantras of UX such as “Good UX is simple,” “Good UX is universal,” and “Good UX is intuitive,” challenging them one by one. Through client and personal projects, the argument is made that good UX design is neither universal nor timeless, but situational and shaped by the context of the here and now. The audience is invited to reconsider what “good” truly means in digital design today. **Irene Pereyra** is the co-founder of the independent design studio Anton & Irene and the author of Universal Principles of UX (Quarto, 2023), with a second book, The Accessible Design Reference & Specification Book, forthcoming in summer 2026.
