Recent studies show we're already trusting AI more than our own judgment, with critical thinking declining the more we rely on it. Meanwhile, violations are shaping legislation instead of the other way around, and the fences we're building may already be too late. This is a conversation about accountability, consciousness, and what happens when no one is checking if the rules actually work, or if there is even any rule at all.
