**How to Participate as a Recipe Leader**
The **Recipe Leader** is the host of the session.
You don’t need to be a professional chef, just someone who enjoys sharing food and knowledge.
**Your responsibilities:**
* Choose a **plant-based, organic, local, seasonal, zero-waste** recipe
* Buy the ingredients with your **own money**
* Arrive **in advance**
* Set up the kitchen space
* Pre-cook elements if necessary
* Guide the group during cooking

* Clean up the space after the session
You also bring the story, culture, or intention behind the dish, helping create a warm and meaningful atmosphere.

Optimizing AI Inference: How to Cut Costs, Latency & Energy
Running production-level AI (especially LLMs and generative models) is facing a wall: cost, performance and hardware availability. Cloud bills are skyrocketing, latency is impacting user experience, and reliance on high-end GPUs is creating a bottleneck. On top of that, new regulations such as the EU AI Act are increasingly requiring transparency on energy consumption.
Green AI is an emerging field dedicated to making AI environmentally sustainable without compromising model performance. This discipline goes hand in hand with engineering efficiency: using fewer resources to achieve equivalent results. By optimizing models to reduce energy consumption, we address two critical goals at once: we significantly improve operational margins and scalability, and we minimize the carbon emissions.
In this session, we will demonstrate how to address these challenges using **GAISSA**, a UPC spin-off project that automates AI model optimization. We will show a **Live Demo** covering:
* A walk-through of how a standard model is compressed and adapted for efficiency
* A Return on Investment (ROI) comparison of a standard vs. an optimized model
* A visualization of cost reduction (€), latency (ms), and emissions (CO2)

En aquestes terres àrides... i només durant dues setmanes es produeix **un dels espectacles més extraordinaris de la natura: la floració del presseguers! **As the winter comes to an end, the peach tree begins its flowering stage.** This is the first great step in the stages of the fruit. **The fields in Aitona fill only during a couple of weeks with an impressive pink colour, a burst of colour that will leave you breathless!** If you would like to hear the poetry of nature or you are just a fan of the song "La vie en rose"... you can't miss out today's proposal to discover a marvelous natural sight! 🌸
