Achieving Business Agility is much harder and elusive than most people realise. With a predominant focus on agility at team level, most of the Agile implementations often miss the enablement of agility at the whole organisation level. It could be argued that businesses don't even have an agreed definition of what Business Agility is. During this session, the participants will start by exploring some of the characteristics and elements that enable agility in Business. Then, based on our collective experience, we will assess how present those characteristics are in Finnish businesses. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems: * Using running totals * Performing operations in intervals * Identifying data gaps and islands * Performing aggregates without losing detail Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them.
