The Royal Shipyards were in use between the 13th and 18th centuries, and today the museum is one of the most important maritime museums in the Mediterranean. Le **dimanche 1er mars** est la *Journée des musées gratuits*, alors… nous allons visiter le **Musée maritime de Barcelone (Museu Marítim de Barcelona)** ! Le musée est situé dans les bâtiments historiques des **Chantiers navals royaux (Drassanes Reials)**, juste en face du monument à Colomb, au bout de La Rambla, près du port de Barcelone. Les chantiers navals royaux ont été utilisés entre le XIIIᵉ et le XVIIIᵉ siècle, et aujourd’hui le musée est l’un des plus importants musées maritimes de la Méditerranée. On peut y découvrir la riche tradition maritime de Barcelone du Moyen Âge à l’époque moderne.
