Social Board Game Night
Why not join us at Board for a fun night of board games and make some new friends along the way!
No worries if you haven't played board games before - newcomers are welcome :)
Board have an excellent stock of games. You can check them out [here](https://boarddublin.com/games/). If there's one you'd like to suggest playing, feel free to let us know in the comments. You can bring along your own board games too.
We ask everyone to please honour the house agreement of spending โฌ15 in the pub (or โฌ5 for game rental if you don't want to buy anything). The staff are always very kind to us, so we ask everyone to respect this.
There is a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including mocktails, teas, coffees and mushroom beer. They do also have a vegan pizza on the menu - it's called "The Bishop" and it's very tasty. Check out the menu [here](https://boarddublin.com/menu/).
We'll post the location of our table on the night, but if you're having trouble finding us, the table is booked under "Fearghal". Or you can just leave a message on here. Please be on time and remember to change your RSVP if you can't make it.
You don't have to be vegan/plant-based to come along. All group members are welcome. If you have friends that want to come along as a +1, you will be responsible for them. All members to be treated with kindness and respect regardless of background.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Cruagh Wood Loop (Easy Loop)
**We will be meeting at Tallaght Luas Stop for 10:OO AM**
How to get to Tallaght ? Red Line Luas or 27 Dublin Bus
We are getting the scheduled SD3 for Bus for 10:20 AM at Tallaght Luas 4348 Bus Stop, The Bus is not too big so I would advise driving too.
The Bus Duration is 19 Minutes (14 Stops), We will be getting off at Cruagh Wood Bus Stop at 10:39 AM.
There is a Car Park too for those who cycle or drive there.
The loop is 4 KM (roughly around 1 hour - 1 hour 30 minutes).
It is a well maintain loop with a lovely forest, it has a lot of great views of Dublin.
There might be a Coffee van at the Car Park for those who would like refreshments.
I would advise bring a packed lunch with you for just incase the van is not there. Alternatively there is a Timberove Cafe Nearby 2.4 KM away (40 Minutes which is open)
We will be getting the Bus back to Tallaght Luas Stop at 14:09 PM, that should get us back at Tallaght at for 14:31 PM.

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
โฉWe started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
โฉFeel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
โฉHere are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
โฉTabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wondersโฆ
โฉSocial deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewordsโฆ
โฉIMPORTANT:
โฉ1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
โฉ2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you havenโt come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for February is "Transitions"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
NSCoder Night
Bring your work or your hobby, hang out, and code with us.
Follow @buckeyecocoa for more information.
