We meet on Tuesdays in a 'hyggelig' café and speak Danish together. The event is free but please buy a drink or a snack to support the café that hosts us. Everybody is welcome, also Danes! ;-)

We are a group of people meeting on Tuesdays to socialize around cooking and eating together. Usually around 40-50 people. Many are international students, but also other people join. The foodclub exist independent of Meetup, we invite you because we have room for a few more people. The food is vegan and made from donated leftover veggies from a local greengrocery. The place has originally hosted leftwing activist groups, and many of the people joining are also involved in political groups. If you want to join for chopping and cooking, we will be doing that from 3 to 6 pm. It is possible to join part of the time. From 6:30 to 8pm we are serving food. Donation around 30 kroner. If you are helping out some hours, chopping, cooking or cleaning, you can eat for free. From 8 to 9 - 9:30 pm we are cleaning up the place. We hope to see you in our lovely foodclub <3

Experience the city that brought us Søren Kierkegaard The philosopher Søren Kierkegaard is one of the strangest figures Copenhagen has seen, and is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds to come out of this city as well as being a world-renowned philosopher! Born and raised in the capital, Kierkegaard (1813-1855) felt most at home walking the streets he knew better than most, talking to vendors, craftsmen and the ordinary people. On this walking tour in Copenhagen, you'll get the story of Kierkegaard's childhood, his growing up, his faith and philosophy, his struggles, mistakes and not least his unrequited love for Regine – to whom he dedicated his life’s work. The Copenhagen that Kierkegaard knew was quite different from today. With no sewerage, thousands of cows, pigs and horses, hundreds of thousands of rats – Copenhagen was known as one of the dirtiest cities in Europe. And yet it was: “Big enough to be a major city, small enough that there is no market price on human beings.” You don’t need to be a philosopher to join this tour. Welcome for some fun improv games together :) About us: We are a bunch of people of all ages and backgrounds, gathering to share the common passion for improv. Improvisation, or Improv for short, is a form of live theatre in which the story, characters and scenes are without a script and made up in the moment, completely different every time. The actors are acting, directing themselves, writing the plot and interacting with each other all at the same time without previous planning. Improvisation can help you with your social and business skills by training your mind to think quickly and react to unexpected situations. In Improvisation, there are no lines to memorize and you play off other creatively challenged fun-loving, global-minded people who loves laughing at themselves. It’s a great way to socialize and make new friends. It’s a welcoming atmosphere, we want you to join in the fun, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced improviser – come and lets enjoy together! We usually start with some warm-ups that help us relax, listen and focus. Then we move on to doing different kinds of short scene fun games with each other, making characters, stories and our small worlds. In improv mistakes are welcome and you will have goooood times! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind.
