On this walking tour in Copenhagen, you'll get the story of Kierkegaard's childhood, his growing up, his faith and philosophy, his struggles, mistakes and not least his unrequited love for Regine – to whom he dedicated his life’s work. The Copenhagen that Kierkegaard knew was quite different from today. With no sewerage, thousands of cows, pigs and horses, hundreds of thousands of rats – Copenhagen was known as one of the dirtiest cities in Europe. And yet it was: “Big enough to be a major city, small enough that there is no market price on human beings.” You don’t need to be a philosopher to join this tour.
