Unser **Wettbewerb fĂŒr vorbereitete Reden** steht an!
## đ Vorbereitete Reden (5â7 Minuten)
**8 Teilnehmer** betreten die BĂŒhne â jede Rede sorgfĂ€ltig vorbereitet, jede Botschaft mit eigener Handschrift.
5 bis 7 Minuten Zeit, um zu berĂŒhren, zu ĂŒberzeugen oder neue Perspektiven zu eröffnen.
Wichtig:
Wer die Mindestzeit unterschreitet oder die Höchstzeit ĂŒberschreitet, wird disqualifiziert. PrĂ€zision ist hier kein Detail, sondern Spielregel.
Die Gewinner dieses Abends qualifizieren sich fĂŒr den **Area-Wettbewerb** am 21. MĂ€rz und vertreten unseren Club auf der nĂ€chsten Ebene.

**ââïž Warum moderierst Du als Mann diesen Workshop?**

Hi, ich bin Georg. Ich weiĂ, ich bin ein Mann. Warum moderiere ich dann diesen Workshop?

Abenteuer Freundschaft ist mein Beruf. Am Anfang war ich auf MĂ€nner-Freundschaften spezialisiert. Ăberraschenderweise waren 60 Prozent der Newsletter-EmpfĂ€ngerinnen Frauen. Frauen scheinen die Wichtigkeit guter Freundschaften viel mehr zu spĂŒren.

Deshalb habe ich letztes Jahr angefangen, Workshops fĂŒr Frauen anzubieten. Soziale TrĂ€ger, das Rathaus Schöneberg und das Frauenzentrum Begine haben mich bereits fĂŒr Freundinnen-Workshops gebucht. Im Frauenzentrum moderiert eine Bekannte die Workshops.... denn da darf ich noch nicht mal rein :).

Unseren Workshop werde ich zurĂŒckhaltend moderieren. Ich weiĂ mit der Situation umzugehen. Das ist Euer Raum.

FĂŒr die MĂ€nner gibt es alle zwei Wochen am Dienstag einen MĂ€nner-Workshop, der regelmĂ€Ăig gut besucht ist.

German Sprachcafé at Denizen! B1 to C1
**Hi everyone!**
Weâll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on **Mondays and Wednesdays**!
* **Mondays:** levels A1 to B1
* **Wednesdays:** levels B1 to C1
We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve.
**Event schedule**
* **18:00 â 18:30** Arrival and registration
* **18:30 â 19:50** SprachcafĂ©
* **19:50 â 20:00** End and clean up
Please be aware that the moderated event starts at **18:30**. Before this time, we are busy setting up the space. Registrations usually take place around **18:15 / 18:20**. Participants are kindly asked **not to arrive too far in advance** at the house.
If someone arrives much earlier, Denizen may ask them to pay either for a drink (consumption) or for a **day pass**, as the space is a co-working environment during the day. **Please remember, our event is only happening from 18:00 to 20:00**
**How the Sprachcafé works**
We use different materials to help participants gain confidence in German. Together with whiteboards and our volunteers, the Sprachcafé is based on **interactive conversations** in small groups.
**Participation fee**
The SprachcafĂ© has a **participation fee of 5 âŹ**, which helps cover organizational costs and **includes one soft drink for free**.
Tickets can be purchased directly on the day of the event, card and cash payments are accepted.
As the Sprachcafé has become very popular, we now need to **limit the number of participants**. Please understand this measure; it ensures that everyone has a comfortable space to practice.
We kindly ask you to be **rĂŒcksichtsvoll** and only RSVP âYesâ if you are certain you can attend.
If your plans change at the last minute, please update your RSVP so someone on the waiting list can take your spot.
Getting your ticket early can help secure your place.

On this fine evening, we shall enjoy some food ⊠and also learn why we enjoy it. Because tasting is really a form of testing for our brains â wetware QA in essence.
But how do we reformulate this wetware testing into those familiar realms of software and hardware testing? It is not as simple as exchanging taste buds for test suites and bites for bytes. Just ask Big Food which spends billions on this same question: How can computers do taste tests like humans?
Guided by the example of an ML/AI-powered scientific instrument for chemical analyses, namely, a spectrometer, this session addresses this question and explores the broader topic of QA in the food industry. Discover how food companies scale testing across scientific software, device hardware, and food/human wetware. So grab a spoon for this insider scoop on QA for food.
**2\. Vitaly Sharovatov\, developer advocate @ Qase: *QA Myths Busting: A Practical Guide to Higher Quality***
Have you ever felt the urge to increase the amount of testing or hire more testers, thinking it would improve product quality? As a tester, have you ever been held âaccountableâ for quality or pressed for time, leaving you feeling helpless? Or perhaps youâve been asked to justify quality assurance initiatives with numbers?
Our industry is filled with myths: from âquality can be measuredâ to âmore testing means higher qualityâ and from âQA slows down workâ to âtesters are responsible for qualityâ. In this talk, I will present the myths I once believed, explain the dangers they pose to both teams and products, and demonstrate how they should be debunked and overcome.

This is not about athletic performance or racing, but about being active outside together and connecting with new people. You should feel comfortable on your bike and bring a basic level of fitness â but no matter what type of bike you ride, youâre very welcome. đ
Weâll ride at a steady but relaxed pace and wait for each other. Additionally, having a respectful and relaxed atmosphere within the group is important to me. âșïž

Companies cannot possibly do everything themselves. So things like accounting, logistics, and IT are outsourced to external service providers. In the IT sector, system houses have been doing very well for themselves in recent decades! Every little thing is charged for, and if there are any errors, the customer is expected to open a ticket. We are rethinking this! We are applying the âas-a-serviceâ concept from Airbnb, Uber, and Everstox to system administration and taking responsibility. Jonathan will show how this works in his talk.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other churchâstate issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEAâs early wins and hard lessons, what weâre seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape â and practical ways to get involved.
