Ladies Walk & Talk: A Coaching Conversation in Nature
Join me for a mindful walk through the beautiful Phoenix Park, a chance to slow down, reconnect, and explore what truly supports your well-being. As we walk, I’ll weave in reflections and tools drawn from transformational coaching, touching on themes such as self-care, emotional balance, resilience, and presence. Being in nature naturally opens space for insight and calm, it helps us remember what matters most. We’ll finish our walk with a coffee and light conversation, leaving time to integrate what’s surfaced. Practical details: Please arrive at the Visitors’ Centre car park 5 minutes before the start time. Bring water and clothing suited to the weather. Places are limited, so booking is essential. If you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.

Glanadh Trá trí Ghaeilge/Beach cleaning
English: Join us for an Irish-language beach clean with Craobh na Coille, followed by tea, biscuits and a relaxed Irish language conversation. All funds raised go directly to the Gaelic Woodland Project, a charity creating nature reserves in Ireland. All levels of Irish welcome. Gaeilge: Le Craobh na Coille. Tar éis beidh tae, brioscaí agus ciorcal comhrá ar an trá. Téann gach euro a bhailítear chuig carthanas. Bígí linn do ghlanadh trá trí Ghaeilge le Craobh na Coille, deis chun aire a thabhairt don timpeallacht, an Ghaeilge a úsáid i suíomh nádúrtha, agus bualadh le daoine eile sa phobal. Tar éis beimid ag bailiú le chéile ar an trá le haghaidh tae, brioscaí agus ciorcal comhrá neamhfhoirmiúil. Tá fáilte ar gach leibhéal Gaeilge ó thosaitheoirí go cainteoirí líofa. Téann gach pingin a bhailítear ón imeacht seo go díreach chuig an Gaelic Woodland Project, carthanas Éireannach atá ag bailiú airgid chun forais nádúrtha a bhunú ar fud na hÉireann.
Sunday boardgame meetup
Sunday boardgame meetup
Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested. Any questions contact either of the organisers Gavin or Stephen.

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Board games at The Forge
Board games at The Forge
The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area! Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
