Join me for a sea swim/dip at the Forty Foot on Sunday 29th March, at 230pm. Remember i am not a lifeguard so take care to know your limits in cold water, especially at this time of year. Bring your warm clothes, warm drink and your warm company. see you all there, down the steps at the forty foot.

Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested. **Roche's Hill, Killiney Loop.** **Meeting Point : Tara Street Dart Station** **Time : 12:20** **When : Sunday 29th of March** **We will be taking the Dart from TARA Street Station at 12:31 and getting of at Glenageary Dart Station, arriving to Glenageary Train Station for 12:58 (Estimated).** **We will be walking for 33 minutes to the starting point (2.3KM)** **The Loop is 2.1 KM long, this is an easy route, it normally takes 36 minutes to do but we can take our time..** **Dogs are welcome too, on leads please.** **Every event is 5 Euros's, you can pay by using Revolut or Cash.** **This helps me maintains the group and this takes a lot of time and effort.** **I hope to see you there !**

Learn and play Japanese mahjong! Friendly meetup open to everyone, beginners very welcome 🀄️. Note: while the meetup is free, we would ask that you order something as courtesy for the venue :). Hello everybody. Meeting at 9.15am and starting off from the Kilmacanogue carpark, up the Big Sugarloaf and then over to the Little Sugarloaf, the hike will be approx 13.2km , ascent 675m. please have proper hiking boots and rain gear, and enough food and liquids for the hike.

**Hands in the Soil: Community Growing, Learning & Craic** This first gathering will be a relaxed mix of **hands-on garden work, shared learning, and good conversation**. It’s about getting together in a real space, doing something practical, and seeing what ideas and connections might grow from there. On the day, we’ll: * Get our **hands dirty** with some light garden work and soil prep * Do some **seed sowing** and talk about what grows well locally * **Make kombucha together** and chat about fermentation, food, and simple home practices * Share knowledge, questions, and experiences around growing food * Enjoy some **fellowship, chats, and a bit of craic** along the way.Alongside the practical side, we’ll also have an open, informal discussion about a bigger idea: * The possibility of **small community “park farms” or gardens** in underused green spaces around Dublin * What that might look like, what’s realistic, and whether others feel drawn to exploring it further There’s no pressure, no expertise required, and no expectation beyond showing up with curiosity and a willingness to pitch in. Whether you’re experienced with gardening or completely new, you’re very welcome. Bring clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, and if you have them, gloves. Everything else will be very low-key. This is just a **first step** — a chance to meet, work, talk, and see if there’s a shared appetite to keep growing something together.

**Sunday Evening Walk** **This Sunday’s walk will be a nice gentle pace from Booterstown Dart Station.** **We will be meeting at 16:00 outside the entarance of Booterstown Dart Station, you can get the Dart from Northbound or Southbound or you can get the Bus 4, 7 and 7A to the Station.** **There is a Car Park too.** **We will wait 10 minutes then we will be walking to Booterstown Park, Blackrock Park, We will then be walking the coast of Seapoint and Monkstown and then we will be walking of the Piers in Dún Laoghaire and finishing at the Train Station.** **There is a few Cafè’s while we are walking for those who would like Coffee.** **You can bring your Pet too but please have them on leads.** **We should be back for around 17:30-18:00.** **If you can please paying 5€ this helps me for the page as I am paying the subscription. Distance 76kms, 350m ascent Today we cycle from Clonsilla train station to Summerhill and Maynooth mostly through backroads in counties Dublin, Meath and Kildare. Here is our plan for the day. We leave from outside Clonsilla Train Station at 10.15am. Cycle through mostly quiet back roads to Summerhill village in rural county Meath. We will have a coffee and lunch stop at the Centra shop in Summerhill village. There are picnic tables outside the shop. We return via Maynooth, again using mostly quiet rural roads, and continue back to Dublin through Carton House estate bypassing Leixlip, and onwards via Porterstown to the Phoenix Park, and via the Royal Canal at Ashtown to finish at Drumcondra train station. There is a train from Connolly station to Clonsilla leaving at 9.48, stopping also in Drumcondra station at 9.53. Bicycles are allowed on Dublin to Clonsilla/ Maynooth line commuter trains free of charge. * *Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment.* * *Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture.* * *Please cycle single file on narrow busy roads*

Join us at our weekly Balfolk dancing session in the **NED O'SHEAS pub from 3:30 to 6pm!** 💃 Learn folk dances from many countries, meet people from all over the world and enjoy some live music at the end of the session! 🪕🎻🪗 Beginners and two-left feet people are welcome! Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
